The book of Deuteronomy consists of sermons presented by Moses to the Israelites. The book consists of a recounting of the 40 year travel through the wilderness, a set of laws of worship are set down and the penalties for breaking said laws. Prior to the end of the book, Moses passes the mantle of leadership to Joshua and goes up Mount Nebo to die and be buried by God.

The Ark of the Covenant is described in the book of Exodus, second book of the Bible. It is described as wooden, covered in gold. It contained the stone tablets on which were inscribed the Ten Commandments as well as Aaron's rod and manna.

The story of David and Goliath is found in the book of Samuel. During the war between the Israelites and Philistines, Goliath (a gigantic man), taunted the Israelites daily asking for a warrior to fight him. David, eschewing armour, slew Goliath with a sling. He was to become the future king of Israel.

The story of the Tower of Babel is told in Genesis. Following the great flood, all people spoke one language. In the land of Shinar, mankind decided to build a tall tower, tall enough to reach heaven. God was displeased and mixed their language so that they could not understand each other and this caused them to forego the building of the tower and disperse worldwide.

Samson was a judge of Israel, mentioned in the book of Judges. Samson was blessed with enormous strength and his exploits included killing an entire army with a donkey's jawbone, killing a lion and single handedly destroying a Philistine temple by hand. Delilah was a woman he fell in love with and she betrayed him by allowing the Philistines to cut his hair while he was sleeping.

Sodom and Gomorrah are primarily mentioned in the book of Genesis. They are described as wicked, sinful cities and God rains down fire and brimstone upon them. Abraham pleads with God, that if he can find but fifty righteous people the Lord will spare the cities. The Garden of Gethsemane is found at the foot of the Mount of Olives. This was the garden that Jesus and his disciples were in when Judas betrayed Jesus to the soldiers by identifying him with a kiss. This is found in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke in the New Testament of the Bible.
