This quote from Peter can be found in Acts 2:38. He made this quote on the Day of Pentecost in which he and the other apostles were filled with the Holy Ghost. Peter spoke to a large crowd, along with the other disciples, in their native tongue, leading several to ask for forgiveness of their sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost themselves.

In Matthew 14:22-33, Jesus calls out to Peter who was in a boat with other disciples. He told Peter to come to him and not be afraid. Peter got out of the boat and walked on water but then became afraid.

He called out to Jesus to save him from drowning and he was saved.
