The Sox swept the Houston Astros in four games.

Answer: A.J. Pierzynski

The same catcher who was voted #1 in an S.I. poll, "Who Would You Most Like To See Get Beaned?", made the dash for first after the Angels' catcher failed to properly catch the third strike. He was safe and the Sox went on to win the game.

Answer: 2

The game the night before went into extra innings and lasted an amazing 14 innings. After over 5 hours of playing, the Sox won after midnight (local time). They went on to win the final game of the series that night.
