1. Who was traded to Chicago in 1999 for Chris Chelios?

Answer: Anders Eriksson

At the trade deadline, Detroit traded Eriksson and a 1st round draft pick to Chicago for Chelios. Earlier in his career Chelios was quoted as saying he would never play for the Wings.
2. Which player was NOT acquired by the Wings at the 1998-1999 trade deadline?

Answer: Steve Duchesne

Duchesne was signed as a free agent prior to the 1999-2000 campaign.
Along with Chelios; Clark, Samuelson, and Ranford were supposed to be
the key ingredients for Detroit to win it's third Stanley Cup in a row.
But they were eliminated by Colorado in the 2nd round.
3. For what other NHL franchise did Kris Draper play for?

Answer: Winnipeg Jets

Draper was drafted 62nd overall by the Winnipeg Jets in 1989. Over the course of 3 seasons, he played in 20 games for the Jets, scoring 3 goals and zero assists.
