1. At the beginning of the 1997 season what was the Ferrari chassis number?

Answer: F310B

The F310B was the first car designed by Ross Brawn and his designers at the Italian team. The 'B' was because the 1996 car was the F310.
2. The final race was held in Jerez as the 'European Grand Prix' but which race did it replace?

Answer: Portuguese GP

The Portuguese GP was scrapped to make way for Jerez. Luxembourg was already in the calender and the other two races haven't taken place for years.
3. Which unfortunate team didn't even make it past the first race?

Answer: Lola

The Lola cars driven by Rosset and Sospiri never made it to the second race of the season due to financial trouble.
4. Who crashed in Canada breaking both his legs in the process?

Answer: Olivier Panis

Olivier Panis crashed on lap 52 fracturing both legs and ending a truly exciting race. The red flags came out to stop the race and Michael Schumacher won his 24th Grand Prix.
