On October 11, 2007, Mats Sundin scored his 390th regular season goal for Toronto, thus breaking the Maple Leafs record of 389 goals established by forward Darryl Sittler. Sittler played with Toronto from 1970 to 1982. During the 1977-78 season, Sittler scored a career high 45 goals. Mats Sundin was one of the greatest players ever to don the Maple Leafs' blue and white. Sundin wore uniform number 13 and was the captain of the Leafs for eleven seasons.
