The three tests against Australia, and the other seven provincal games were: Western Australia, Queensland President's XV, Queensland Reds, Australia A, NSW Waratahs, NSW Country and ACT Brumbies.
2. The number of English, Irish, Welsh, and Scotsman, starting each of the three tests didn't change. How many Englishmen started each test?

Answer: 8

The six players who started each test were: Matt Perry, Jason Robinson, Jonny Wilkinson, Phil Vickery, Martin Johnson and Danny Grewcock. Richard Hill, Neil Back and Martin Corry all played two out of three tests at flanker and they made up the eight Englishmen.
3. How many Irishmen started each test?

Answer: 3

The three players were: Brian O'Driscoll, Rob Henderson, and Keith Wood.

In one of the best games on tour, the Lions overcame the Brumbies 30-28, after trailing by 20 points at one point. Justin Harrison threw his scrum cap at Austin Healey after celebrating the equalising try to no avail. They lost.
