The Hawks produced two different champions within three years of the inception of the contest. Dominique Wilkins and Spud Webb won in 1985 and 1986, respectively.

7. Name one of the two cities in which Michael Jordan won the Slam Dunk Contest.

Answer: Seattle

Jordan won in back-to-back years in 1987 (Seattle) and 1988 (Chicago). His victory in Chicago was slightly controversial as many thought Dominique Wilkins should have won the competition, but Jordan was given the award since he was in front of his home fans in Chicago.
8. In the 2005 competition, Steve Nash showed off his soccer skills by heading an alley oop to which dunk contest participant?

Answer: Amare Stoudemire
