In 1996 Galarraga belted 47 HR's, Burks hit 40 HR's, and Castilla hit 40 four-baggers. Then in 1997 Larry Walker hit 49, Galarraga hit 41, and Castilla hit 40 again.

Considered by most the best hitters of all time, neither Williams nor Babe Ruth ever had 6 hits in one game.
3. Were Barry Bonds 71st, 72nd, and 73rd homeruns hit on consecutive days?

Answer: No

Bonds hit his historical 71st and 72nd homeruns on Oct. 5, 2001, against Chan Ho Park. Two days later on the last game of the season Dennis Springer gave up his Bond's 73rd homer.
