The chant holds the same name as the witch doctor, and it is said to summon him.

2. Which band member is kidnapped?

Answer: Lila

The entire episode is revisited on Daphne's web show in the 2014 DTV movie "Scooby-Doo! FrankenCreepy," where the band is named the Alex Super Experience. The band is never officially named in this episode.

The gang and Alex go there due to what Mamba Wamba said, before he kidnapped Lila.

This plot is recycled from "Jeepers, It's the Creeper," where a chick followed Scooby around, thinking Scooby was its mother.

Though Alex does end up signing in pen (not blood), I always found Mamba's statement to be unusually dark for an episode of "Scooby-Doo." Although the other three answers were not correct, all of these things do happen at some point in the "Scooby-Doo" franchise. Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy are threatened with a gun by a Skull Ghost ("Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers"), The gang's Mystery Machine is shot at by an unknown gunman in "The Ozark Switch Witch" and the Phantom Racer actually attempts to cement Shaggy inside a brick wall in "The Spooky Case of the Grand Prix Race."

The "parchment" is actually a legal release that would sign away the band's rights to play the Mamba Wamba song.
