Answer: Picnic

No one wanted to help Coach so he did everything on his own. But then no one even signed up to go so he used an old man routine to guilt trip the others into going.
2. What did Coach tell Sam would help in his relationship with Diane?

Sam told Coach that he and Diane were going to wait until they were sure about how they felt before having sex. Of course, we knew from the first episode where they started dating that they've been having sex all along.
