Answer: Cliff

2. What did Sam donate to the charity that Diane was working at?

Answer: his old jersey

Sam was a relief pitcher for the Boston Red Sox before his drinking got so bad he couldn't play anymore. His jersey was number 16.
3. What is the answer to Diane's joke, "How many surrealists does it take to screw in a light bulb"?

Answer: fish

I don't get the joke. I looked up the explanation and still don't get it but this is what it said, "The definition of surrealism explains this joke perfectly: "Dictation of thought in the absence of all control exercised by reason, outside of all aesthetic and moral preoccupation." (www.mirror.co.uk) A surrealist is one who creates art based on the unconscious mind.
4. Who bought the item Sam donated the first time?

Answer: Diane

Diane paid $100 for the jersey. She didn't want it to end up on Mr. Bobo's table.
5. Who or what is Mr. Bobo?

Answer: a monkey

When an item did not sell it ended up on Mr. Bobo's table. Then, later in the show, Mr. Bobo gave those items away to random people.
6. Who bought the item Sam donated the 2nd time?

Answer: Sam

Sam paid $200 for his jersey because it wasn't selling and he didn't want Diane's pity. He disguised his voice as a little old lady but Diane caught him anyhow.
7. Why did Sam get upset with Diane?

Answer: She told him he had his health.

Sam said that you only tell a person they have their health when that is all they have left. He wanted to prove to her that someone would buy his jersey so he donated it once again.
8. What kind of jokes didn't Norm's prospective clients like?

Answer: ones where the animals talked

Norm was not doing well at all with these two people. He finally had to apologize to Cliff for calling him a bore because he needed Cliff's help.
9. Who did Cliff say domesticated the cow?

Answer: Mesopotamia

Cows were first domesticated in China. (archaeology.about.com). Cliff is full of useless facts, often times however these facts are not accurate.
10. The third time, how much money did Sam's donated item sell for?

Answer: $300

A man named Bert Simpson bought the jersey. He knew nothing about baseball and only bought it because he was sick of seeing it reappear each time. Bert Simpson was played by Patrick Cronin.
