Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In attempt to win the support of his capos to become boss of the New York family, Little Carmine invites Angelo Garepe and Jerry Basile to his house and bribes them by giving them what?

Answer: Washing machines

Angelo and Jerry seem receptive to his ideas and are leaning towards siding with him in the power struggle. However, while they are discussing planning Carmine's ascent to the big chair, they are horrified when they find out that his boat "My Funny Little Valentine" is sinking and that his rival Johnny Sack is responsible.
2. Who spoils the surprise of Hugh's 75th birthday party by telling him about it ahead of time?

Answer: Junior

Despite Bobby's urging Uncle Junior to mind his own business, Corrado Soprano, upset that he wasn't invited, calls Hugh and lets him know about the party. He says "at our age, it's a surprise that we get up the next morning", which Hugh repeats to Carmela. She is angry to find out and calls him a "miserable man" for letting Hugh know about the party.
3. Johnny Sack shows off his new Maserati to Tony. About how much did he tell him cost him?

Answer: $100,000

Tony knows that Johnny's spending so much money on luxuries means he expects to be boss of New York but Tony, trying to remain neutral, warns him not to do anything else rash, after sinking the boat and having Lorraine Calluzzo whacked. He also agrees to have Phil's car fixed at Big Pussy's wife's auto shop, where they can control costs. Johnny offer Tony a ride in the Maserati while they forget about those issues.
4. Tony agrees with Carmela that he won't go to Hugh's milestone birthday.

Answer: True

He says that, determined he wouldn't come right after he separated, despite the fact that he forgot that Hugh's birthday was coming up soon. Hugh, however, hears that some his old friends Russ and Tommy are coming and thinks Tony will get along well with them.
5. Who doesn't come to Hugh's birthday party?

Answer: Bobby Baccala

Even though Artie comes, Carmela cooks during the birthday party and Artie only makes hors d'oeuvres and passes out on the beach chair, while Tony and Carmela are making out in the pool. Father Phil sits at the table with old timers Russ Fegoli and Freddy Di Novi and has a philosophical conversation with them.
6. Which of these isn't something Phil Leotardo and Joey Peeps complained to Angie Bonpensiero about after she repaired Phil's car?

Phil continues to complain about his car so his can get a new factory seat, with the leather he wants. Tony Soprano calls his cousin Tony B. to come over and make sure the situation doesn't spiral out of control, but Phil stubbornly insists on "hosing (Pussy's family) down", despite the fact Tony B. and Joey want him to compromise. Angie calls Tony, but not feeling any sympathy for an old rat's wife, doesn't get involved and cuts her short.
7. Who walks around with a camera, recording Hugh's 75th birthday party?

Answer: Tony Blundetto

He comes to help Carmela preparing for the party and offers to make Carmela a Rusty Nail. By the end of the party, he is sick of recording the party and policing his kids, so much to point that he says he's being treating like a slave, which shocks Tony Soprano, who considers him a helpful cousin.
8. Why do Rusty Millio and Angelo Garepe tell Tony Blundetto they want him to give him a hit contract on one of Johnny Sack's friends?

Answer: The hit on Lorraine Calluzzo

Rusty and Angelo explain to Tony Blundetto that Little Carmine and Lorraine were cousins and knew each other since they were kids. After remembering Tony Sopranos speech earlier of how he should start out slow with the airbag business and not worry about money, Tony B. backs out.
9. How does Tony B. punish his kids for stealing from the Soprano household?

Answer: Takes away their Gameboys

Tony B. finds them in Jason's and Justin's room while he's tucking them in. The twins explain how they think Tony's house is a mansion compared to where they live now and Tony B., eating breakfast in front of his small TV, sees the New York hit as a way to earn money for his family.
10. The final scene of this episode is of a murder committed by Joey Peeps.

Answer: False

This is the only episode that ends with someone getting whacked. Joey Peeps is taking Heather, who works at the nearby brothel, home in his car when Tony B. walks up to his car. Joey recognizes him from his mediating the situation with Phil's car and asks why he's here. Tony B. tells him the answer in the form of his actions, shooting Joey and Heather to death.

In the process, he his foot gets run over by the car, that was still in drive and he has to limp away from the sloppy mess.
