In Taylor's first scene where she was in the hospital bed, she was asleep when Michael arrived and checked on her eyes. Just then, Taylor awoke and asked about her baby. Michael informed her that the baby was alright despite her attempt to commit suicide so Taylor then brought up the dream she had about him and her.

Midway through the episode, Lexi was at her place when Peter came in to speak with her. He told her that he needed to break some news to him so he told her that he was still in love with Amanda. This infuriated Lexi so much since it came shortly after finding out that her business was under investigation over embezzlement. She punched him in the face and then kicked him out of her place.

Taylor was at her apartment when Michael called her to let her know about some lab work on her health. He told her that he saw how he was the father to her baby so she was thrilled to hear the news. He did remind her that it did not change anything between them since she would raise the baby by herself.
