1. Why did Rebecca say Cheers couldn't have a happy hour?

Answer: Not legal in the state of Massachusetts

Rebecca had put out a suggestion box and Sam was reading some of the suggestions. None of the suggestions worked. Massachusetts was one of the first states to ban happy hour.

2. What movie did Woody, Norm and Cliff always watch?

Answer: The Magnificent Seven

"The Magnificent Seven" was an older movie starting Yul Brynner. The guys watched it whenever it was on TV, as a tradition.

3. Who was the man who taught skydiving?

Answer: Bob

Bob was played by J. Kenneth Campbell. He has been on Broadway, TV and film.

4. Did the three guys jump out of the plane the first time up?

Answer: no

They chickened out and made up a lie. The lie was "We jumped, the parachutes opened, we landed."

5. How did Carla spell the word "hell"?

Answer: H E Double hockey sticks

This was fitting for Carla since she was a big time hockey fan. She was asking Woody if they really jumped because she knew Woody didn't like to lie.

6. Who went with the three guys the second time?

Answer: Sam

Sam thought the story the guys told about jumping was exciting. He decided he wanted to try it as well. At first the other men didn't want to go, but Woody decided to go so that he wouldn't be telling a lie any longer. The other two went as well, afraid Woody might say something about them not jumping the last time.

Once again they chickened out. Sam was upset that they lied about jumping before and decided he wasn't jumping.

Woody was the first to jump because he couldn't live with the lie any longer. Sam then yelled down. "Hey Woody, is it scary?" and then he jumped. Norm jumped right after Sam. Cliff didn't want to jump so they made it seem like the plane ran out of gas and was going down. Cliff said, "Not with me, you're not" and jumped out of the plane as well.
