Bubbles' shed does move around from time to time, but it is still home to him. Bubbles had the shed moved to beside Ricky's trailer when they were running the park. For two episodes, Bubbles lived in J-ROC's van, after his shed was burned down.

A major disappointment for me in the fourth season, Bubbles didn't even touch a single shopping cart in all eight episodes. Before becoming Assistant Trailer Park Supervisor, Bubbles rebuilt shopping carts, and sold them back to one of the rival malls for $18.00 a piece.

Mike Smith plays Bubbles. Surprisingly, the character was never originally in the show, but while Mike Smith was goofing around on set one day (he was originally a sound re-recorder), performing as a character he had been doing for many years, director Mike Clattenburg decided to write Bubbles into the script. John Paul Tremblay plays Julian, Robb Wells plays Ricky, and John Dunsworth plays Lahey.

Bubbles acquired his truck driver's license in the fourth season (it was phoney, of course), and he had been driving trucks for years. In the final episode, a cut shot of the license is shown and it has "Bubbles" as the actual name on the card. He was primarily selected to drive the truck because of his near spotless criminal record.

The cat that Bubbles is shown holding is Mike Smith's actual cat. It was born with a birth defect in one of it's feet. The cat makes it's first debut in the short film "Cart Boy".

This short film is included as a bonus on the season 1 and 2 DVD set. Robb Wells and John Paul Tremblay made this original film about two mall security guards trying to apprehend a cart thief. Mike Smith played a character named Darren, who is currently known as Bubbles, trying to raise funds to get his cat, Bubbles, a prosthetic foot.

It was the very first inkling of a massive Canadian cult classic.

Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, and Mike Smith were all nominated for Viewer's Choice Awards for Best Original Comedy Act, and the show itself was nominated for Best Original Comedy Series. When Mike won the award, all three of them went up on stage in their Sunnyvale hockey jerseys, and portrayed their characters for a short while. Mike even got away with yelling obscenities into the mic.
