1. Does Beth go to East Catholic?

Answer: No

The series never mentions where Beth goes to school, but we know this because in "Secrets and Lies" they talk about their different proms [they are on different days], even though they are in the same grade.

2. In the first season who was JJ's girlfriend when he and Beth broke up?

Answer: Colleen

Colleen was a girl JJ knew from work at the country club. They got together after JJ and Beth broke up both times.

3. What song was playing when JJ came to Beth's prom to confess his feelings?

Answer: "Serenade"

In this scene JJ tells Beth he loves her. She pushes him away until he points out that if she really didn't love him she would be wearing her white chiffon prom dress.
