"Charmed" Eighth Season: Part One Quiz

Answer: At the movies

Billie is a college girl who discovers she has magical powers and decides to act on them. Paige responds to her unconscious call for help and orbs into a movie theatre, where Billie is fighting a demon. The demon then attacks with his accolades at the Manor and here comes Billie again.

She wears a black outfit and a wig, and Paige thinks she might be her new charge. Billie is also the first one to whom the Charmed Ones, living in disguise since the end of the previous season, reveal their true identity.

They let her help them out in fighting the demons.

Answer: Murder

When Piper assumed a new identity, she drew her inspiration from a photo in a magazine. She didn't know that the girl from the photo was Maya Holmes, a model wanted for murder. She found out about it only when she was applying for a job in a company and the HR people run a background check on her.

She was arrested as wanted for murder. But Piper soon discovered that Maya was innocent: she didn't kill her boyfriend; it was her former lover, a DA, whom she had abandoned for the younger man, who framed her.

But the Charmed Ones found a way to make him confess and Maya was set free.

Answer: Magic School

Magic School was no longer the school for good magic - it was taken over by the demons. One of them possessed Mandi - a mom of one of Wyatt's preschool companions, in order to gain Wyatt's trust. The black-eyed demon then took Wyatt to the Magic School in order to get him to bring The Source back.

But The Source didn't last for long - when the Charmed Ones vanquished the demon which possessed Mandi, The Source disappeared, too - this time for good.

Answer: "Rewitched"

Phoebe, Paige and Piper were tired of pretending to be someone else. So they went to the agent Murphy from the Homeland Security, whom they had already met before and who suspected them of having something to do with supernatural, and told him the whole truth.

He helped them in revealing themselves to the world saying that the HS faked their death to protect them as important crime witnesses.

Answer: Rats

After the agent Murphy told the media that the Homeland Security helped the Charmed Ones fake their death, because they were in a witness protection programme, the press took the Manor under siege. Piper, who was particularly tired of it, turned three obnoxious reporters into rodents. Later Paige had an idea of inviting the press to the Manor to show the journalists how ordinary lives they led.

But not everyone got convinced.

Answer: A camera

The demon was after good people, the future whitelighters. He took their pictures and imprisoned them in a collage. But one of them, JD, managed to escape after 55 years. He got run over by a car, but Sam, Paige's father, tracked him down and put him in the Charmed Ones' care. Paige and Sam found the demon's photo studio, but Sam fell in the trap too - the demon put him in a collage along with the others. JD lost his life trying to save Sam. Sam and other innocents were freed thanks to Paige.

Answer: Billie

The Charmed Ones found Hyppolita's belt in one of the boxes they were going through in the archives of the Homeland Security. Billie put the belt on and turned into a super girl. She acquired superpowers and wanted, just like the mythological Hyppolita, to rid the world of men. An evil sorceress, Zira, found her and used her to eliminate rival male demons. But the belt was consuming Billie: fortunately Leo found, in one of the books in the School of Magic, a spell to take the belt off of her and Paige orbed it onto Zira, which killed her.

Answer: At a car dealer

The Angel of Death came to take Leo. But Piper wouldn't let him go. She tried everything: in order to hide him from the Angel of Death she cast a spell which backfired and made everybody in town look like Leo; after he had a car accident and was admitted into a hospital, she summoned an Elder, an Avatar, and an Angel of Destiny, asking them for help.

The last one told her that Leo's death was necessary, because the pain of his loss would motivate them to fight the ultimate evil. But Piper managed to talk her out of this: she made a deal with a demon, which froze Leo in a cube of ice. And the Angel of Destiny promised her that if the Charmed Ones prevail in their future fight, Leo would be returned to them; but if they lose, he would be gone for ever.

Answer: Assassins

Billie's parents were invited for dinner at the Manor. But Billie was not nice to them: she accused them of showing no emotions after their other daughter, Christy, was kidnapped 15 years ago. When she called them 'cold assassins', they turned into real killers.

They didn't recognize Billie any longer and were hired by Dalvos (a human who was raised by demons to take over an important company) to kill Grant, head of the company. When Billie's father fired a shot, Piper froze the whole scene, but Dalvos finished the job for them and they ended up accused of murder all the same.

But Piper shapeshifted into Dalvos and confessed publicly to Grant's murder. Billie's's parents were cleared of all charges and became normal again.

Answer: Paige and Billie

Henry's protégé, an ex-convict and ex-marine Nick, was refused a bank loan so he decided to hold up the bank. Henry, Billie and Paige were at the bank at that time and found themselves among the hostages. At the same time a possessor demon, which Billie had been torturing earlier to find out about her sister's whereabouts, possessed Nick and the situation escalated even further. Fortunately Billie and Paige switched their identities and when the demon took Billie, in reality it was Paige who managed to dispossess Nick and all ended well.
