"Charmed" Fifth Season: Part One Quiz

Phoebe tries to get a divorce from Cole on account of him having gone missing (in reality she and her sisters vanquished him as The Source of All Evil). Daryll is there to corroborate Phoebe's statement: he says that his investigations into Cole's whereabouts gave no results.

When Phoebe is about to sign the divorce papers, Cole, back from the wasteland, storms into the judge's office and prevents her from doing so. Phoebe and Cole go into an argument, and Daryll is furious with the ex-demon for making a fool of him. Cole, in order to silence the inspector, turns him into a water cooler.

Answer: Phoebe

Phoebe turns into a mermaid - a cold-hearted, immortal being - and wants to remain like this, because it makes her feel free and helps her to avoid Cole, who gets back from the dead and says that he wants to make up for his evil past by helping people. Phoebe, in spite of all that he put her through in the past, still loves him.

When she admits her true feelings to him, she becomes human again. But it isn't enough to keep their relationship together. Phoebe decides to go through with divorce after all.

Answer: Piper

In this episode fairy tales come into life thanks to an evil witch who tries to destroy the Charmed Ones in order to become the most powerful witch of all. She makes Phoebe play the role of the Cinderella and turns her into a pumpkin, poisons Paige with an apple and turns her into the Sleeping Beauty (but there is no prince to wake her up with a kiss) and sends a wolf after Piper and Grams (the beast swallows them, but Piper blows it up from the inside).

In the end Piper, dressed up as Red Little Riding Hood, uses a book with fairy tales as a portal to get to the evil witch and vanquishes her with a potion prepared by Grams. All the dark magic the witch did gets reversed.

Answer: Piper and Leo

Piper and Leo were fighting, that's why their powers were exchanged so that they could see how it felt to be in each other's shoes. Piper temporarily became a whitelighter and heard voices of her charges in her heard, and Leo experienced all symptoms of pregnancy: nausea, feeling like crying all the time; he also tried to write a summoning spell and vanquished a demon with his blowing power, just like Piper always did. In the end the couple made peace and got their powers back.

Answer: Kevin

Before Ramus the Elder gets killed by Arnon the demon, he manages to pass his powers on to a boy named Kevin. Kevin is a 13-year boy with a rare power of thought projection (it meant being able to make come to life people and animals he drew), who had been forced by the demon to draw him a comics superhero, Aggressor, in order to strip Ramus off of his powers. Arnon succeeded in it, but couldn't take advantage of it, because shortly afterwards he was vanquished by the Charmed Ones.

Answer: His unborn baby

The Elder was able to foresee the future. Even if it was against the rules, he gave Leo possibility to ask him a question, one and only, concerning the future. And all Leo wanted to know was whether his and Piper's baby would be healthy. It will be very healthy, and more powerful than you can ever imagine, was the Elder's reply. Shortly afterwards Ramus was killed by Arnon the demon. But he succeeded in passing on his powers to a 13-year old boy named Kevin, who became a new Elder.

Answer: Demon of Fear

Barbas, banished by the Charmed Ones to the purgatory - a fate worse than death as he puts it - succeeds in tricking Paige into stripping Cole off his powers that he then claims for himself. Barbas messes up with the sisters' minds, making their worse fears come alive.

He seems invincible. Even the spell with the names of the Halliwells' ancestors, which worked against The Source, cannot harm him. But Paige manages to hit him with a potion that strips him off his powers. These powers are then transferred back to Cole, who vanquishes the demon with an energy ball.

Miles is Phoebe's new flame. When she kisses him, she gets a premonition about him dying in a shootout on a street. She manages to be there in time to save his life. But the next premonition is about Miles getting killed by a warlock and yet another one - about him falling out of his balcony, when a rusty balustrade gives away.

It turns out that the Angel of Death is after Miles and that the boy is destined to die. If Phoebe doesn't stop saving him, she will lose her own life in the process. That's what Cole learns from a powerful warlock who came from the future.

But Piper manages to find a time loop through which the warlock, Bacarra, time-travelled. She enters it and the time gets reversed. She tells her past-self to make Phoebe let Miles die - and that's what happens. Everything ends well for the Charmed Ones.

Cole witnesses a bar being held up and he acts as vigilante, killing the attackers with his energy balls. Then the Avatars of Power and Force appear, asking Cole to join them, but he turns their offer down. When Phoebe finds out about the attack on the bar, and Cole's using his demonic powers to kill people again, she decides that the Charmed Ones should vanquish him.

But the powerful potion they prepare using his blood can't harm him: he is invincible now.

Answer: Leo

The ancient demon Jeric tries to find a witch's body for his long dead lover, Isis. But the problem is that two souls cannot inhabit one body, and Isis's soul gets always expelled by the host. That's what happens with Phoebe, kidnapped by the demon, and is about to happen with Paige. Jeric and Cole, working together, try to trick Piper into expelling Paige's soul from her body, so that it could be inhabited by Isis, in exchange for Phoebe's (who is mummified and can by saved only by Isis) life. But Piper chases away Isis' spirit and vanquishes Jeric. And Paige, who learned how to de-mummify bodies from Isis, resurrects Phoebe.

As for Darryl and his promotion - well, at the beginning Jeric killed a witch and a coroner, that's why Darryl asked the Charmed Ones to help him out. And Leo shape-shifted into Jeric and let himself be arrested so that Darryl could get his promotion.
