After going to the drag races with Sean and Peter things got rowdy and the police ended up showing up. Peter took off in his vehicle and Sean ended up driving away with Emma in his. They ended up in a serious make out session despite the fact that she was dating Peter.

After Peter left a masquerade ball mask in Emma's locker without having her combination, both Manny and Emma came to the realization that Peter had done the same thing to Sean and planted drugs in his locker. Emma was disappointed and hurt that Peter would do something so conniving and broke up with him on the spot as soon as he confessed.

During the junior girl's basketball game a shoving match happened between Darcy and Mia. A Lakehurst student took a jab at Mia (his former classmate), and Mia responded by slapping him in the face. From there, in became an all out brawl that ended with JT hitting the student who started it with his panther mask.

Peter noticed Darcy's 'My Room' page and told her that her page was interesting but would get more online traffic if she posted more risqué pictures online. After having a playful mini photo shoot with Manny and Peter she decided to do a more personal shoot. Peter volunteered to take the more risqué pictures of Darcy, and it wasn't long before there was trouble!

Emma kept hinting to Sean that she wasn't perfect. Sean started picking up on Emma's hints and asked Jay if there was something he needed to know. Jay reluctantly confessed what happened between him and Emma to Sean. This started a downward spiral for Sean and was almost the end of Sean and Emma's relationship.

While in Vancouver, Craig developed an addiction to cocaine. Manny caught him doing it backstage at a show and tried to get him to stop. When she realized his addiction was worst than she thought she broke up with him. Manny eventually told Ellie that Craig had a drug habit and Ellie too tried to get him to stop but he wouldn't.

The constant cocaine use caused Craig's nose to bleed at one of the most important concerts of his life. After the concert Ellie called Joey and let him know that Craig was on drugs. Joey immediately got Craig into rehab.

The boys went to Degrassi looking for a fight and when they seen Toby they jumped him. Toby was against the fight from the beginning, but ironically ended up being the only victim of violence.

After Liberty walked out on JT at the party, JT ran out after her to express his feelings for her. While walking to his car he got into a verbal exchange where one of the Lakehurst boys stabbed him and punctured his aorta. JT died in the hospital later that night.

The episode ended with Toby breaking the news to Liberty about JT's passing and a group hug between Sean, Manny, Emma, Toby and Liberty.

Mia was upset because Liberty wouldn't allow her to play her video of JT playing with Isabella at JT's Memorial. She began to complain to Toby about how unfair Liberty was and about how much JT hated her. Toby then confessed to Mia that the last thing JT told him was that he was still in love with Liberty. Liberty was within earshot and overheard the whole conversation.

It was everything she wanted to hear, just a little too late.

Alex was suspicious of Paige's erratic behavior and kept pressing her to find out what was wrong. Paige kept blowing her off and kept telling her that everything was fine but Alex knew better. While looking for some paper towels in Paige's trunk she came across Paige's exam papers with failing marks and called Mrs. Michalchuk to tell her what she found out.

Marco became addicted to gambling after Dylan left for Switzerland. He couldn't get in contact with Dylan over the phone or by email and got into a funk. After hitting a winning streak Marco became addicted to the high of winning. He even stole money from his father after he ended up losing his $1100 dollars.

Mel (Jay's new girlfriend) got Alex a job at the night club she worked at called 'Zanzibar'. Zanzibar was a bar on one side and an exotic night club on the other. Alex was making decent money as a bar tender, but realized she would need more money after her mother received an eviction notice in the mail. Desperate for cash, Alex decided to become an exotic dancer to make extra money.

Alex's stage name when she worked at Zanzibar was "Lexstasy". She created this persona to get her through her sets nightly.

Marco (Adamo Ruggiero) was the last person shown in the opening credits. The words 'Degrassi: The Next Generation' shows up on the back of his sweater, he then turns around and smiles and it flashes back to a picture of the entire cast.
