Fran wanted the pots and pans with the creature screens to cook Earl's dinner but he wanted a 90 inch television set.

After allowing dinner to leave unhurt Earl saw in the mist on the ground, "That's Fran Mastodon Surprise! I'm saved!" He got closer the Mastodon Surprise got yanked by a rope away from Earl.

Then Fran appeared from behind a tree. They held hands and returned home just in time for Baby Sinclair to be born.

Then cut to the Sinclair house with a beyond ecstatic Earl Sinclair all too happy that he's going to hurl Ethel over the cliff and into the tar pits.

After meeting Fran, Gary sent papers from lawyers to Earl saying he was coming to take over as Fran's husband. Earl had two choices: fight Gary or flee. At first he was up to training before the fight only to give up after a few seconds. He introduced Gary to his new family, "Your son Robbie, your daughter Charlene, your new baby." Baby: "Where's the rest of him?"

A pen and pencil set was the traditional gift for fifteen-year-old male dinosaurs. In Robbie's case Roy gave him the very pen and pencil set his own father gave him on his howling day.
