Jeffrey Tambor made several appearances on Three's Company. His first appearance he played Jeffrey P. Brookes III who was the Roper's neighbor when they moved. He played Dr. Tom Miller, a doctor that Terri brought home after he played Winston. His next and final role was as Dr. Phil Greene, Terri's dentist who she sends Jack to see when he had a toothache. Hamilton Camp played Bart Furley, Richard Kline played Larry and Norman Fell played Mr. Roper.

Cindy went into the kitchen when the door bell rang. Jack told the man that brought the telegram that he would take it. When was almost done, Furley came up to the apartment and thought he was singing it for Jack.
