Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The actor who plays quality-assurance man Creed Bratton is in fact named Creed Bratton in real life. He was also in a band that was popular in the late 1960s and 1970s. Which band was it?

Answer: The Grass Roots

Creed Bratton, born William Charles Schneider, joined the band in 1966. They were originally known as "The 13th Floor". They achieved great success once they changed their name to "The Grass Roots". Bratton's character on the show is a fictional version of himself.
2. In the episode "The Coup", the members of the Stamford branch play a video game with each other. However, Jim finds that he is completely inept at the game. What game is it?

Answer: Call of Duty

In fact, Andy Bernard threatens to kill him if he does not stop getting himself killed. Karen especially enjoys killing Jim's character, as her screen name is "KarentheJimSlayer".
3. In the episode "Basketball", the office workers and warehouse workers play a game of basketball to decide which group has to work on a Saturday. After the game, one of the office workers is shown continuously making shots. Which employee is it?

Answer: Kevin Malone

Believe it or not, actor Briam Baumgartner actually made fourteen shots in a row on set, but they only included a few in the final cut.
4. During the opening title sequence for "The Office", many real-life Scranton buildings are shown. The footage was shot by a member of the show's cast. Who was it?

Answer: John Krasinski

Krasinski was driving through Scranton with some friends and decided to shoot some video of the city. The producers loved the footage and decided to use it in the title sequence.
5. In the finale of the third season, titled "The Job", Jim interviews for a job at Corporate. David Wallace, the CFO of Dunder-Mifflin, says Jim won't like the Human Resources rep in New York. What is his first name?

Answer: Kendall

Clearly, this is a joke based on Michael's intense dislike of Toby Flenderson, the HR rep in Scranton. Kendall's last name has never been mentioned.
6. As of the end of Season Five of "The Office" (US), how many different receptionists have there been at Dunder-Mifflin Scranton?

Answer: 4

They are Pam Beesly, Ryan Howard, Kelly "Erin" Hannon, and Ronni.
7. In the episode "Job Fair", Jim, Andy, and Kevin go golfing with a prospective client. Andy is incensed when he sees the client is wearing a shirt with the name of what college on it?

Answer: Dartmouth College

As a Cornell man, Andy refuses to play golf with a Dartmouth man. The two schools are rivals, as Cornell is the "Big Red" and Dartmouth is the "Big Green".
8. In the sixteenth episode of the third season, "Business School", Pam has her art on display at an art show. She invites everyone in the office to the event. However, which of these showed up?

Answer: Michael Scott and Oscar Martinez

Oscar and his boyfriend Gil look at Pam's art and criticize it rather harshly. She hears them without them noticing. She is crushed until Michael comes along and offers to buy her painting for the office. Roy, Pam's former fiance who worked in the warehouse, is also there.
9. In the episode "Take Your Daughter to Work Day", one employee's daughter hits on temp Ryan Howard. Whose daughter was it?

Answer: Stanley Hudson's

Stanley proceeds to scream at Ryan when he notices his daughter hitting on Ryan. Ryan calls it "the scariest moment of my life."
10. In the fifth season episode "Customer Survey", Kelly Kapoor sabotages Jim and Dwight's customer surveys because they did not attend a party she threw. Kelly threw the party to watch what show?

Answer: "America's Got Talent"
