"Grey's Anatomy": All About Izzie Quiz

In the episode "Break on Through" Izzie admitted to a pregnant teen that she too was a teenage mom. Izzie says that she gave up her baby Sarah, for adoption and her adoptive parents renamed her Hannah and moved to Santa Barbara.

Hank was a hockey player and he was very tall and blond (prompting George to tell him that he and Izzie "will give birth to very tall blond people. Kinda like Barbies.") However, Izzie never made it to the party and she and Hank broke up at the end of the episode.

While Izzie struggled to remember what her cupcakes were missing, a man came into the hospital who believed he was psychic. He was able to tell Izzie that her cupcakes were missing coconut extract. Anyone else think that her cupcakes resembled Hostess cupcakes with the chocolate frosting and swirl of white icing?

Mr. Duff, the "psychic" patient called Izzie, "Cricket," a name that no one outside her family called her. Later in the episode, she calls her mom (which she hasn't done in a long time) and says, "It's me, Cricket."

In the two part post-superbowl episodes "It's the End of the World..." and "As We Know It," Izzie and Alex slept together in the hospital linen closet. Their relationship had potential but when Denny Duquette returned to the hospital she fell in love with him.

This episode prompted one of the funniest exchanges between Alex and Izzie.
After Izzie berates her friends for helping Alex after he's hurt her, Izzie begins to describe her ailments for Alex who is unaware that she's helping. She begins to tell him that she's a farmer who has drooling, puking, and pooping all the time. He gets a little confused and asks if she's helping him, and she yells back that she isn't actually pooping at the moment is she? Oh, it's funny.

George, Cristina and Meredith are the ones who are surprised by Dr. Bailey (AKA "the Nazi"). Izzie however says that Bailey is probably brilliant and that all that the other doctors probably call her "the Nazi" because they are jealous.

Alex and Izzie went out on a date in the episode "Bring the Pain." She came home angry, climbed into bed with George and lamented that he treated her poorly, and that she shaved her legs and didn't even get a goodnight kiss. In a later episode, "Something to Talk About" she says that she wasted her only night off on him.

At first Izzie did not want to cash the check because it was all she had left of Denny. However, Dr. Bailey told her that she wouldn't get to return to surgery until she cashed the check. Izzie cashed it and used some money to pay for expensive spinal surgery for a patient and the rest to help Bailey open the "Denny Duquette Memorial Clinic."
