After all the fall-outs that Jem and the Holograms put up with, it only took one of her Holograms girls to almost get hurt for her to say enough is enough and quit on the spot and she didn't go out quietly!

2. Who saved Kimber from the explosions?

After Roxy set off the explosions while Kimber was going through the path, Kimber asked Nick to help her because he was so close to her and he ran like a little girl. That's when Jeff hopped on his dirt bike and drove though the explosion and saved Kimber without a scratch on her.
