Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.": Seasons 1-2 Quiz

In season one, Skye worked as a hacker trying to expose S.H.I.E.L.D. and its secrets. After being found by Phil Coulson, questioned, and brought on a few missions she eventually changed her allegiance to S.H.I.E.L.D, which stands for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.

The organization's purpose was to protect the world from alien threats. To do this S.H.I.E.L.D. monitored the actions of super powered people and formed The Avengers to fight when needed.

Answer: T.A.H.I.T.I.

T.A.H.I.T.I. stood for Terrestrialized Alien Host Integrative Tissue I. In season one Coulson learned that he was actually dead for six days after being killed by Loki in "The Avengers". Coulson went through a painful procedure known as Project T.A.H.I.T.I. to bring him back to life, and memories were implanted to make him think he was actually on a beach in Tahiti. Coulson later found out the truth, including that he was the one that created the project.

Answer: Sif

Sif aided S.H.I.E.L.D in defeating the Asgardian known as Lorelei, who had the power hypnotize men into doing whatever she wanted. Lorelei was able to control an entire biker gang and turn policeman evil, as well as get Ward to turn against the team. Her plan was to create and entire army of men and take over the world.

The agents found a way to defeat Lorelei by fixing a collar around her neck that prevented her from speaking, and Lorelei was escorted back to Asgard.

Answer: He killed Agent Hand and freed Garrett

Years ago Ward was in prison and Garret broke him out. For many years Garret trained Ward and was the only one that helped him, so Ward's allegiance was always with Garret and Hydra. When Hydra reemerged and took down S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Hand was thought to be the traitor.

However, it was actually Garret, who had help from Ward on the inside. Ward shot Hand and helped Garret escape, where he would later become more powerful.

Answer: Mike Peterson

Mike Peterson was injured and and given powerful robotic limbs by Cybertek. Cybertek forced Mike to become Deathlok and use his new abilities for evil. After S.H.I.E.L.D. broke into Cybertek and rescued Mike's son, Mike turned on Garret and defeated him. Later in the episode there was a scene were Garret came back to life and started to form a new plan, but Agent Coulson appeared and disintegrated him with the powerful gun he used on Loki in "The Avengers".

Answer: Agent 33

Agent 33 kidnapped the real May and pretended to be her to infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 33 sabotaged the agent's plane known as the Bus with a Hydra computer virus, but Hunter and Fitz were able to fix it in time. Agent Coulson was the first to figure out that May was actually Agent 33 and went to rescue the real May. Agent 33's face was electrocuted and her mask became stuck, causing her to not be able to change her identity from May. Later Ward was able to find a way to fix the problem and give Agent 33 her identity back.

Answer: Gordon

The Inhumans were introduced in season two as changed humans with special powers. Inhumans were created by the Kree many years ago when they experimented with humans. After that there were some humans with a genetic predisposition to become Inhuman. The only way for an Inhuman to discover their powers was to be exposed to Terrigen.

However, those who were not Inhuman would die when coming into contact with the Terrigen.

Answer: Afterlife

Gordon rescued Skye as she was about to be captured by those who saw Inhumans as criminals. Gordon took Skye to Afterlife, where she learned the truth about the Inhumans and met her mother, Jiaying. Skye had believed that her mother was dead when she was cut apart during experiments for her ability to stay young and heal fast.

However, Skye's father, Cal, had sowed her pieces back together and Jiaying survived. In Afterlife Sky learned to use and accept her powers and began using her real name, Daisy Johnson.

Answer: Cal

Skye and the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. saw Cal as a murderer and did not trust him. Cal betrayed S.H.I.E.L.D. and followed Jiaying's plan, drinking a serum he created to give himself Inhuman abilities. However, Coulson was able to help Cal see the truth about Jiaying's plan. Cal saved Skye and killed Jiaying when
Jiaying was about to kill Skye. When everything was over, S.H.I.E.L.D. wiped Cal's memory using the T.A.H.I.T.I. protocol and gave him a new life, one that wasn't ruined by Hydra.

Answer: Simmons

When Simmons was swallowed, many characters thought she was dead. However, Fitz would not give up on finding out where she was. Eventually, with the help of Skye's powers, Fitz was able to reopen the portal and bring her back.
