Arnie used to be Polar Man until he got greedy and started charging people a fee for saving their lives. He got his powers back to help George with his superhero work, but he couldn't resist stealing such things as the Crown Jewels, the World Cup and a famous painting.

Mrs. Raven is the receptionist played brilliantly by Geraldine McNulty. Janet is the nurse at the health centre. Piers is the main doctor and television celebrity. Ella is Janet's mum.

The baby wanted to be called Battlestar Galactica or Apollo 11. So Janet and George chose Apollo as the baby name and shortened it to Ollie. Benjamin was the name that Janet wanted to call the baby. George wanted to call him Pontius.

Arnie and George are cousins and come from planet Ultron. "People can date a tree, and the public don't shout "tree lover". In fact I went out with a nice elm once" said George in one episode.

He actually has a very long and confusing name, but George says that Janet can call him Sheamus. We see his father in one episode when he comes to visit George and Janet. He tells George he must come with him back to Ultron because Janet is distracting him from his superhero work. George refuses and his dad says he will have George's superhero powers removed.

Sheamus leaves in the end leaving Janet and George together.

He is 327 when his earth body runs out and he travels to Ultron to go through the "Flaming Time Tunnel Of Tarxis". He goes too far back and ends up turning himself into a baby, and there is a scene which is hilarious when he is on the bed and arguing with his son like a proper baby.

He gets his body back in the end but it's "seriously flawed" in Arnie's words. He scares Janet by pretending that his head is the wrong way around. But he can't seem to mend his tongue which instead of coming out of his mouth, comes out of his ear.

Life on earth has 24 hours to live until a meteor strikes and destroys all life. Thermoman has 24 hours to gain back his memory, which he accidentally erased, and save the planet from the meteor.

They had a party for their 40th anniversary and didn't want George to attend because they said he was stupid and always said thoughtless things. George bought himself some pork scratchings because they had a strange effect on Ultronians. Suddenly George knew everything. Ella and Stanley were impressed and invited him to their party and asked him to make a speech. Janet took the pork scratchings off George after it was effectng his superhero work and saving people.

He then was completely painfully honest as usual when making his speech and upset everyone. Everything was normal again.

George's double arrives so he can go on a superhero course. Janet isn't happy with Hilary after he showers with her (she thinks it is George). He goes on to wreak havoc around the world dressed as Thermoman and gets George's superhero powers removed. The Ultron council catch him in the end after Janet and George set a trap which was baby Ollie's idea.

George has a fear of dogs and when he first catches sight of Biggles jumps on top of the table with fright. He then later buys an earpiece which helps him communicate with animals. He talks to Biggles and finds out that Biggles hates Stanley and Ella since they took him off his mother when he was only a week old. George tells Biggles to assert himself. Later when Stanley goes to put on Biggles' coat (which he hates) Biggles tries to bite Stanley. Stanley wants Biggles put down.

But Thermoman comes to the rescue and reunites Biggles with his mother.
