She ran upstairs while Brooke tried to free herself. Derek found Peyton and threw her on her bed, but Peyton got away. Brooke and Peyton both knocked him down the stairs, and Peyton kept kicking him so he wouldn't get back up. When the police came, Brooke and Peyton were sitting on the front stairs, and Peyton was thanking Brooke for saving her life. That when Peyton said "Hoes over bros", and Brooke said "Hoes over psychos."
