In episode two called "Disaster", Starlight House burned down causing the Holograms and the foster girls to lose everything. So how did Starlight Mansion have a trunk full of Emmet and Jacqui Benton's things?

They also found some old sheet music written by Jacqui Benton, which surprised Raya. Aja clued her into Jacqui's recording career. Her wish to revive her career would later give birth to Starlight Music and Starlight Home for Foster Girls.

Rio Pacheco and his family just moved next door and was a whiz on fixing things. So it was no surprise that he was working with Emmet Benton in his garage and Jerrica fell in love with him.

It was June 30th and the Bentons took in a foster girl, Aja Leith, who was quite the tomboy that Jerrica wasn't. Jerrica jealously saw Aja helping Rio in the garage and, despite her efforts for Rio to notice her, it didn't work.

"February 8: It has been one week since my beloved Jacqui died. Life has lost all purpose, all meaning." Jerrica and the other girls came into his room begging him not to go away or send Aja, Shana and the other girls away.

With Emmet's voice in the background, he explained that music and computers could be linked and concerts could be recreated in every home. The first holographic images he did were a lion, robot and a bear. He also did an owl but not a tiger.

Somehow Eric Raymond had a hold of Jacqui Benton's master tapes during his tenure as head of Star Light Music. He was forcing the Misfits to help him look for the tapes amongst his possessions.

Eric asked for money first:

Eric: "You could pay me off with a cool million."
Jerrica: "I don't have that kind of money!"
Eric: "Alright, in that case just sign over controlling interest in Starlight Music to me."
Jerrica: "Never!"
Eric: "Jerrica, I'll give you until 8 o'clock tonight to wise up. Meet me at my house or I'll destroy the tapes."

Answer: Aja Leith

It was Aja who found the entry in Emmet's diary: "I am now programming Synergy with Jacqui's likeness and recordings." This led them to believe that the master tapes were inside Synergy. Slowly Synergy was taken apart and while Jerrica, Kimber, Shana and Raya were napping, Aja found the tapes hidden deep inside Synergy's memory banks.

Also on the menu were "First Love", "My Heart", "Oh Jo" and "Jerrica's". The Holograms sang "First Love" on Lindsay Pierce's show which is where Eric Raymond learned of the master tapes' existence. All because Kimber said, "Just as soon as we locate the master tapes of a performance made back then." Thankfully, Emmet recorded the master tapes into Synergy.
