Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In order for Ryoma to participate at the National Tournament, this person gives his spot as a regular to him. Who is it?

Answer: Oishi

Oishi gives way for Ryoma even though Ryoma said that he wouldn't participate in the Nationals with Seigaku. They have a 1-set match and if Oishi didn't get any points against Ryoma, then Ryoma could take Oishi's spot as a regular. Ryoma wins without giving Oishi any points.
2. What is the first team that Seigaku fought in the Nationals?

Answer: Higa Chuu

Seigaku won the five matches between them and Higa Chuu. St. Rudolf didn't make it to the Nationals. Hyotei and Shitenhouji are not the first team that Seigaku fought but theses team will also have matches against Seigaku.
3. In the match between Seigaku and Higa Chuu, what game did Eiji Kikumaru play?

Answer: Singles 2

Eiji played in singles 2 against Kai of Higa Chuu. He won the match and realized that playing singles was too lonely and he still loves playing doubles.. Singles 3 was played by Ryoma, Doubles 2 by Fuji and Kawamura and Doubles 1 by Inui and Kaido.
4. In the match between Seigaku and Shitenhouji, to whom did Fuji Syusuke lose?

Answer: Shiraishi

Fuji lost to Shiraishi by the score of 7-6. Shiraishi beats all the triple counter of Fuji by his perfect "Bible" tennis, but later Fuji reveals his final counter, which prevents the returned ball from going over the net and the final counter helps him to gain points. Shiraishi finds a way to hit the ball over the net and then he breaks Fuji's final counter.
5. Who were the opponents of the Golden Pair when they first synchronized to each other?

Answer: Ootori and Shishido

Ootori and Shishido (the Silver Pair) were their opponents when they first synchronized. Hyotei won this match because Eiji didn't let Oishi hit the ball since it would cause more injury to Oishi's wrist.
6. What is the team that Seigaku played with in beach volleyball?

Answer: Rokkaku

They met each other at the same beach and they end up playing beach volleyball. With two people per team, the Ryuzaki-Oji pair won.
7. How long did it take before Tooyama Kintarou and Ryoma Echizen finished their 1-point match?

Answer: 40 minutes

Ryoma and Kintarou didn't get to fight in an official match because Seigaku had already won three matches against Shitenhouji. Kintarou requested that Ryoma have a 1-point match between them. In that match, they used all of their special techniques. Their 1-point match took over 40 minutes before it ended and it was a draw because the ball split into halves with each half on one side of the court.
8. In the National Finals, who lost all of his memories about tennis?

Answer: Ryoma

Ryoma, with his father, Echizen Nanjiroh, went to Karuizawa to train for the National Finals. While they were training there something happened and it caused Ryoma to lose all of his memories about tennis. With the help of the players who Ryoma had beaten before, he recovered all his memories before his match with Yukimura Seiichi of Rikkai Dai.
9. In the Singles 3 match between Seigaku and Rikkai Dai, who won?

Answer: Sanada

During this match, Tezuka used his Tezuka Phantom and Zero-shiki serve but the continuous use of those techniques damaged Tezuka's arm. Sanada defeated the Zero-shiki serve from Tezuka. A cord ball by Tezuka dropped from the net to his side results for Sanada's victory. Sanada defeated Tezuka with a score of 7-5.
10. Who won in the Nationals?

Answer: Seigaku

Seigaku won the Nationals!
(Yehey, I'm super-happy they fulfilled their dreams. Tezuka, Oishi, Fuji, Eiji, Inui, Taka, Momo, Kaido, and Ryoma; this is the best line-up of regulars ever! But sadly, Tezuka, Eiji, Fuji, Oishi, Taka, and Inui couldn't play tennis anymore as Seigaku Regulars. T_T)
Kaido became the new captain and Momoshiro was the new vice-captain. Ryoma went to America.

Seigaku defeated Hyotei and Shitenhouji. They also defeated Rikkai Dai which led them to the fulfillment of their dreams: to win at the Nationals.
