A trio of kids with GoPros head into the woods of North Carolina looking to capture footage of the Roanoke house during the Blood Moon to upload to their website. Fans of 'My Roanoke Nightmare', they unpack the latent content of the show's story-- everything from colonial parallels to rises from oppression for people of colour and women.

They come across the tree from Chapter 3 before a figure emerges from the woods, utterly lost and searching for their vehicle. The kids chase her to find an overturned car in the forest.

Inside, dead, is the woman they were following; it was the producer from 'Return to Roanoke' who left before filming.

Audrey and Lee speak to Dylan, who played the role of Ambrose in 'My Roanoke Nightmare', and he makes it clear that he was under specific instruction from Sidney to appear on the third day to shake things up, arriving at the front door of the house in the Piggy-Man costume. We was told not to bring his cell phone, and after several days of waiting in a local motel he would take an Uber ride onto the property.

He compliments the makeup on Lee's missing ear before Audrey yells to assure him that all of it is real and they're all in great danger. Everyone is dead.

They bring him upstairs to Shelby and Dominic's bodies and suggests they create a stretcher and a way to find Monet and leave before the blood moon on the third and worst night of the ritual. Since he had two tours in Afghanistan, he feels confident they can power through.

Answer: Army of Roanoke

The kids are brought to the police station for questioning after she and her friends find the car in the woods. There, they explain that they run a fan site-- 'Army of Roanoke'-- online and were seeking out authentic footage to fuel their followers. One of them, Todd, asserts that he never believed any of it until they found the car. Milo is thrilled with the discovery. Sophie is excited that they could go viral. Todd says that the woman from the woods wasn't alive...but she was still walking around out there. When the cops arrive at the scene of the crash, they don't find a body. Sophie feels as though the police are covering it up; Todd and Milo think that the cops just don't get it.

They're told to return to Virginia and never return to the Roanoke house or they'll be arrested for trespassing.

Answer: Audrey

Night begins to fall as Lee, Audrey, and Dylan head through the woods. Dylan says he'll head for the Polks' truck-- their best option for escape. Lee and Audrey offer to head to the Polk house and barns to find Monet, but Lee's priority is to find her confession tape. Audrey heads into the barn where they held Lee and, sure enough, locates Monet inside. Lee, meanwhile, heads to the polk house proper and finds the camera she needs. That's when Dylan is able to start the truck. Unfortunately, however, he's killed by someone he doesn't see...and the girls are found by one of the Polks. Fortunately, Audrey has a gun.

She kills one of the Polk men while, outside, Lee watches the torch-bearing citizens of Roanoke approach. The other Polk takes the truck and drives away.

The women realize that they have no choice but to run.

Audrey and Monet flee for the only shelter around-- the Roanoke house-- even though they both think it's a horrible idea. They figure Lee is probably dead; Audrey reasons that the tape Lee went for is something she never would've left behind because it proved their innocence.

When Monet plays it back however, both discover it's a confession that proved she killed Mason. Out in the woods, Lee watches as something stalks her in the darkness. She sees a pig get slaughtered as Scathach appears to her, a beating heart in her hands.

As Lee takes the heart from her, she bites into it ravenously.

Answer: Todd

The 'Army of Roanoke' trio returns to the house on the night of the blood moon, ignoring the warnings from the police as their followers increase exponentially. They find the site where Mason was murdered years before and, across a clearing, they recognize Lee. Todd moves closer to her to offer assistance, but he's met with a blade; she kills him as the other two flee into the night, screaming.

They escape Lee, but trip, finding themselves under a canopy of wooden figures, much like those Matt and Shelby found in their house when they moved in.

They vow not to split up and continue running. That's when they find Sidney's production trailer and the bodies outside it. They're forced to flee inside when Dylan, still alive but seriously hurt, emerges from the woods.

Answer: No

Sophie and Milo look around the production trailer, cornered, to find that production of 'Return to Roanoke' is underway and that, as it seems, most of the cast is dead in the house, but Audrey and Monet are up in the bedroom, hiding. Sophie worries that Monet, who's drinking, won't be able to keep a clear head and survive. Both she and Milo watch as Lee starts approaching the house, emerging from the woods in search of them. Sophie calls the cops from her cell phone, but they don't believe her.

She and Milo decide they need to do something, vowing to stop Lee, and cautiously head outside, Dylan now missing.

Answer: None of these

In the bedroom, Monet worries that they're wasting time as she drinks vodka and Audrey smokes a joint. They both figure Lee must have died, but a loud noise outside their door startles them from their seats. They open the door to find Lee standing in the open, staring at nothing. Lee tells them that their presence in the Roanoke house is vile and that they don't belong there as Monet berates her for being a murderer. Lee continues to stalk towards Audrey and her handheld camera, but she soon turns her attention to the woman who portrayed her and pushes her off the balcony, impaling her on the shattered chandelier below.

It doesn't stop Lee though. She pursues Audrey towards Dominic's body; the land, she says, must be cleansed with fire and blood. Audrey picks up the knife near Dominic's body and fights Lee off, forcing Lee's own cleaver out of her hands and running down the stairs.

She trips, but as Lee moves in to attack her, Audrey impales her on a broken stake of wood before running out the front door.

Answer: Root cellar

Audrey, meanwhile, continues her escape, aiming to descend into the root cellar out in the yard to wait out the rest of the final night. She begins her descent, but Lee appears before her, still alive, and chops into her shoulder with a cleaver. Lee pushes her off the ladder and, as Audrey plummets to the bottom, she hits herself on a metal pipe.

As she bleeds out, Lee closes the door and departs. Sophie, chronicling her approach of the house, confirms that it's all real. Milo tries to convince her to turn around, but they see the house in the distance and keep moving.

They miss the scuffle at the root cellar, but watch as the Roanoke citizens, bearing their torches, drag Dylan to the front of the house and disembowel him. They don't realize Lee sneaking up behind them at the same time.

Answer: Two

Continued footage of Sophie and Milo are pulled from Todd's iCloud account. After their position is revealed, the people of Roanoke drag them to the front of the house. Both of them are brought forward for slaughter and both are impaled on stakes from below before being doused in kerosene and set ablaze. The footage cuts out there.

The next day, the police arrive at the house to find the bodies of Sophie and Milo still smouldering in front of the house. The bodies of Monet, Dominic, Shelby, and Matt are found inside the building. Dylan's corpse lays on the ground outside. Lee, still alive, is found nearby. As they try to help her, she screams. She's clearly injured, and they call for an ambulance, but she refuses to stay, instead allowing herself to be led to the back of their cop car.

Audrey emerges from the root cellar. The cops find her and she asks if they're real. When she sees Lee, however, she takes the gun from her savior's holster and is immediately jumped upon by the other officers. They gun her down. Lee is the only survivor.
