2. In the famous synchronized swimming sketch, who played the swimmers, Gerald and Lawrence?

Answer: Harry Shearer & Martin Short

Christopher Guest played the synchronized swimming director for Shearer(Gerald) and Short(Lawrence). Aired October 6th, 1984, this sketch remains a 'SNL' classic.
