Rio was the first one to offer his services for free, the Countess offered to do the costumes and two other men went to get the film stock.

Anthony said, "All right people this is the last scene let's make it count." The Holograms then began singing "People Who Care".

Clash drove up outside the gates of Starlight Mansion where Video was filming. She was confirming her suspicions of The Holograms doing a movie. Clash then told them via Video that Jem and the Holograms would make them look like the phony trash that they are.

On the set of the Misfits' movie, "The Misfits Hit It Big", Eric was shocked to see orangutans. Eric was stunned and tried to remind them that he was the director. Pizzazz then of course showed her selfish side: "Oh shut up, Eric! I will do what I want." Nick Mann then quit the movie.

Considering the jungle type atmosphere on the sound stage, the Misfits then sang "Welcome to the Jungle", the same song that they sang in the episode "Island of Deception".

Clash, in her disguise, stole the wardrobe, cables, lenses, Video's tape of Jem's accident and a woman's clipboard. Georgia. the makeup artist on the old film, gave away Clash's disguise. All the stolen items were returned and Jeff submitted the accident tape to the unions.

Nick: "Jem, sweet thing, Nick Mann is here to save you from amateurs. With my name in the credits your film will have to be a box office hit. And just for you babe, I'll work half my usual fee."
Kimber: "We don't need your help!"
Jem: "Now Kimber, lets not be hasty."
Anthony: "But Jem, we shot half the film with Rio as the lead!"
Rio: "Alright, if that's the way you feel about it, Jem!"
Jem: "I was going to say, there's no reason why we couldn't find a part for Nick. Maybe a nice bit part?"
Nick: "A bit part? A bit part?!"
Jem: "And you'll have to work for free."
Nick: "For free?"
Jem: "Well everyone else is."
Nick: "I don't do bit parts and I don't work for free!"

Eric was confronted by the Producers' Guild, the Directors' Guild, the Stuntman Union, and the Photographers' Local. He was charged with misconduct, directing a film without Guild approval, failure to use qualified stunt persons and hazardous conditions on set.
Pizzazz: "I'm sick of all this work anyway!"
Roxy: "We don't need more scenes."
Stormer: "Yeah we have enough film."
Eric: "Oh I give up!"

"Starbright" and "The Misfits Hit It Big" premiered across from each other and both movies had long lines. People came out of "Starbright" and got back in line to see it again. People at the Misfits movie complained, "It stunk", "What a rip off!" and "Jem wasn't even in it!"
