David Gabriel, Brenda's right-hand man, played by Corey Reynolds, tries to help Fritz move, but Brenda tells him to stop because it's against LAPD policy for an officer to work for their superior while off duty.

S2E5 "To Protect and Serve" ranks, in my opinion, the top Flynn/Provenza episode! Scenes include the garage door going up and down; Flynn's car dies, then the radio goes out so they can't even hear the game; Brenda screaming, while banging a stapler on Provenza's desk, "Where are Flynn and Provenza?!"; and finally, when Brenda looks at Provenza and yells, "Go home!", Provenza asks, "Is that how they say, 'You're fired' in the south?"

S3E3 "Saving Face" is another popular episode, most likely because of the hilarious scenes, such as Lt. Flynn's speech at the funeral making no one laugh, except Lt. Provenza. Most people are shocked and the deceased's wife just scowls. When the church's steps are taped off to protect the crime scene where the casket fell, the bride-to-be for the wedding taking place in the next hour, lashes out at Deputy Chief Johnson, then hits her, kicks her and destroys her bridal bouquet over Brenda's body. Things like that.

S3E6 "Dumb Luck": You have to watch carefully to catch Buzz pantomime Tao brushing off his keyboard. Buzz Watson played by Phillip P. Keene was originally cast as a temporary addition to the team, but Buzz became a much-loved and memorable character so his role became permanent.
