This is indirectly told in season five, episode eight (508) "The One With All The Thanksgivings". Judy: "Yes yes, Monica is thin, it's all wonderful, but what we really want to hear about, is Ross' new girlfriend." Ross: "Oh mom, ok then. Her name is Carol and she's ..."

2. Who made up the melody for "Smelly Cat"?

Answer: Frank (Phoebe's father)

Frank used to sing a song, on that melody, to Phoebe and Ursula when they were little.

3. Joey has a bedtime penguin pal. What is its name?
