Dana was more or less still "in the closet" about being a lesbian. All of her friends, gay or straight, seemed to know, but she had a hard time spotting other lesbians. We meet Lisa in "Lies Lies Lies", episode four. Alice immediately takes an interest, as she has sworn off woman- again! When she realizes all of the real Lisa's attributes (a man who is sensitive and identifies with lesbians) she starts seeing the best of both worlds. Devon Gummersall plays Lisa.

He can also be seen in "My So Called Life", "Felicity" and "Roswell". Shane may appear like a really small man, but she is definitely a woman.

When Bette had to go to New York in "Losing It", Tina is 11 weeks pregnant. She is having awful morning sickness and goes to a herbalist. While there she runs into Marcus and his girlfriend. The woman gets furious when she finds out he donated his sperm to Tina, and verbally abuses her.

She waits outside the herbalist's shop and then threatens Tina to sue her for the baby. Marcus comes to her house the next morning and apologizes for his girlfriends threats and harassing phone calls, and swears she will not be calling anymore. Tina loses the baby a week later, but we find out she is very pregnant again in the season two opener.

It was Dana's manager that explained she had to maintain a "lifestyle" agreement in order to keep them as a sponsor. The pressure of not displaying her sexuality gets to her and she ends things with Lara Perkins. It turned out that Subaru wanted her to maintain her lesbian lifestyle, and not pretend to be straight. So, Dana fires her manager on the spot. Lauren Lee Smith played Dana's sous chef love Lara.

Answer: Mr. Piddles

After Dana became involved with Tanya, Mr. Piddles suddenly died. Mr. Piddles was a cat on a lot of medication, but he seemed fine over all. Tanya showed signs of jealousy of Dana's beloved pet, so I suspect she killed him. Alice also expresses this belief at Mr. Piddles' memorial service. He had his own casket with "Mr. P" written on the inside lid.

Candace was Yolanda's ex-girlfriend. Tina and Bette met Yolanda in their group therapy. Then, Bette hired Candace to do some work at the CAC (California Arts Center) and the two became intimately involved. Tanya was the guest liaison Dana met when the girls went to the Dinah Shore golf event in Palm Springs. Robin was Jenny's girlfriend after Marina, and at the same time she was dating Gene.

When Tina finds out about Candace, she slaps Bette, and then leaves her.
