1. Who are the new love interests in Marissa and Summer's lives after Ryan and Seth leave?

Answer: DJ and Zach

After Ryan leaves for Chino and Seth sails away, the two girls get lonely and opt for new characters, DJ and Zach. DJ works for Marissa's mother and stepfather, and Zach is a guy from school.

2. How old is Alex, who works at the Bait Shop?

Answer: 17

Seth works at the shop to get tickets for Summer so he can show her that he doesn't just care about himself, but also for others. Alex is his boss, and she later reveals that she is only 17.
