Shatner and Patty Breslin played newlyweds who come to the diner to kill time while they await repairs made to their broken down car. Ernest Truex plays the peddler Pedott who happens to have the uncanny gift of being able to bestow people with something they need just by reaching into his briefcase for it. It doesn't matter how seemingly innocuous or cheap the item is, it will surely enough prove to be just what that person needs in a moment or two.
3. In "To Serve Man" the Kanamit is given a polygraph. What is his first answer when asked, "How did you get to Earth?"

Answer: "walked"

In this classic episode of "The Twilight Zone" 7-foot tall aliens come to Earth with the promise of bringing them secrets of energy and agriculture that will make life much easier or Earthlings. (In the original short story by Damon Knight, the Kanamits are much shorter and animal-like). Scientists administer a lie-detector test for one of the Kanamit, in order to find out if they are being honest about their intentions.

As a control test question they ask "How did you get to Earth?" which the Kanamit answers with "walked".

This registered as a lie, so now the scientists know that the lie-detector should be workable.
4. In "The Trade-Ins" what poker hand did John Holt, the old man, have in the final hand when he was trying to earn another $5000 for both he and his wife?

Answer: Three kings

Elderly couple John and Marie Holt only had $5000, enough for only one of them to trade-in their ailing body for a younger strong body. Marie urges John to do it because of his failing health, but he won't do it unless they both can. John tries to win $5000 more by entering a high stakes poker game and almost loses it all.

But the soft-hearted opposing gambler folds his better hand (3 Aces versus John's 3 Kings) after hearing John's sob story.
5. In "The Odyssey of Flight 33" where was the airplane heading from and to?

Answer: London to New York

En route from London to New York, flight 33 xperiences some extreme turbulence and a flash of light. When they emerge from it and approach what should be Idlewild Airport (known today as Kennedy Airport) they notice that yes indeed they can see the island of Manhattan but there is not a single building on it.

They are shocked to then see dinosaurs inhabiting the island. They circle around to try and catch the same freakish jet stream to see if they can have another time jump set them in the correct century.
6. In "On Thursday We Leave For Home" what rank is James Whitmore's character?

Answer: Captain

Captain William Benteen, played by James Whitmore was leader of a colony of space travelers on a distant planet that awaited a rescue ship from Earth to come get them. Answer: 1 month

Anne Francis plays Marsha White, the woman who shops in a department store, looking for a gift for her mother. An elevator operator takes her to the 9th Floor even though the elevators floor number indicators only shoe 8 floors. When she gets out she sees that the floor is empty except for one lone saleslady played by the beautiful Elizabeth Allen. Marsha makes a purchase of a thimble and then notices that it is scratched.

She goes to the complaint department on the third floor but they tell her there is no ninth floor when she tells them that's where she bought it.
8. In "Five Characters in Search of an Exit" what was the order from top to bottom of the way they stood atop each other in order for one of the characters to successfully climb out?

Answer: Major, bag piper, hobo, clown

Five characters, a militar major, a tramp, a ballerina, a bag piper, and a circus clown find themselves trapped in a large round room with no explanation as to how they got there. The major is the most aggressively intent on escape and convinces the others that they can try creating a human climbing post by standing atop each other's shoulders.

It fails once, but the second time, it works at the major is able to reach the top and pull himself up and out of the large drum.
9. In "Stopover in a Quiet Town" the couple mentions on several occasions that the last thing they remember is driving down the highway, when a shadow came over them a little above what town?

Answer: Riverdale

I always get a kick out of this one, because Riverdale is where I grew up and I pretty much know exactly where along the highway they must have bee. It's the Henry Hudson Parkway and it leads down into Manhattan's merging right onto the West Side Highway.
10. In "The Rip Van Winkle Caper" the four criminals had different areas of expertise needed to execute their gold heist. Which was NOT one of the areas of expertise held by one of the four?

Answer: metallurgy

Their plan was to execute a huge gold heist then hide out in a pre-planned hidden cave and go to sleep for a hundred years while the crime blows over and their gold increases in untold value. The four men were experts in four different areas, each one playing a particular role in being able to pull it off: noxious gases, mechanical engineering, firearms, and demolition. Metallurgy was not an area of expertise.
