Lexie appeared at the front desk for induction dressed similarly to Boy George, lead singer of Culture Club.
The dreadlock hairstyle was cruelly cut off by Joan Ferguson. Prior to her release, the prisoners throw a party and all dress up as Boy George.

One of the original characters back at the start of the series. Lizzie appeared up to episode 418. Sheila Florance, who played Lizzie also appeared in the first "Mad Max" film.

Answer: 'Mum' Brooks

Mum was another original character, often seen as an "agony aunt" to the other prisoners. Her real name was Jeanette. The character appeared in the first 204 episodes.

One of "Prisoner's" most infamous characters, despite having only appeared in 14 episodes. The protagonist of one of the more controversial "Prisoner" storylines, responsible for the death of "top dog" Myra Desmond.

Another controversial storyline featured Edna Pearson. This was so controversial that the five episodes which she appeared in were edited. This was because the storyline about alleged poisoning was similar to a real-life case in Australia.

Answer: Rita Connors

The final "top dog" in Prisoner Cell Block H, Rita forms a gang named the "Wentworth Warriors". Rita has a long-running feud with Joan Ferguson, and is a key player in getting Ferguson caught out for robbery and jailed at the end of the series.

The original "top dog" as the series started. Bea was a firm but fair prisoners' leader, often hauled before Mrs Davidson for her actions. Another who had a long-running feud with Joan Ferguson, before her transfer to Barnhurst.

Answer: Meg Morris (Jackson)

Yes, Meg Morris, the only character to appear throughout the whole series of 692 episodes. Meg was jailed (if only for 72 hours!) for contempt of court. Meg was also a parole officer and deputy governor throughout the series. Phew!
9. Inmate not likely to give much information away, doesn't say much at all.

Answer: Barbie Cox

One of the more bizarre characters. Throughout the 16 episodes in which she appears, she only says two sentences. "Hi de Hi" or "Naughty, naughty". Her crime is never revealed, although she whispers it to another inmate prior to her release.

Another original character, lasting until episode 446. Doreen had a child-like demeanour, and was in and out of Wentworth several times.
