It turns out, the Covenant removed her from her apartment unconscious, extracted pulp from her teeth, injected it into another body, and set the apartment on fire.

2. What was the name of the man who was torturing and brainwashing Sydney, and who turns out to be the man she killed in "Succession"?

Mckenas Cole, played by famous director Quentin Tarantino, was in "The Box Pt 1" and "The Box Pt 1", appears later in the season, in the episode, "After Six". He is in "Full Disclosure" as well, he tells Syd to "kill this unimportant man". Simon Walker is the man we see in "A Missing Link" and "Repercussions", season 3.

He works for the Covenant. Andrian Lazeray is, among other things, Julian Sark's father.
