1. Wilma Flintstone

The role of Wilma Flintstone was played by voice actress Jean Vander Pyl (1919-1999). "The Flintstones" animated sitcom first began airing in September 1960. Jean Vander Pyl would continue to voice the character in multiple spinoff television series and feature length films until 1997, when she voiced the character for the final time on an episode of "The Weird Al Show". Jean Vander Pyl also provided the voice for Rosie, the robot maid on "The Jetsons", as well as various other cartoon characters created by Hanna-Barbera.
2. Marcia Brady

Maureen McCormick played the role of Marcia Brady, the eldest of the Brady Bunch girls. Maureen McCormick was born in August 1956 and actually took on several roles in other television series such as "Bewitched" and "I Dream of Jeannie" before being cast as Marcia Brady for "The Brady Bunch" television series which aired from 1969-1974.
She would continue to play the character in multiple spinoffs and Brady-related television specials.

"The Honeymooners" ran as its own series from 1955-1956. Audrey Meadows took over the role in 1952 from actress Pert Kelton (1907-1968) who had been placed on the national "blacklist" at the time.

Barbara Eden played the role of Jeannie, the main character of the sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie" which aired from 1965-1970. Barbara Eden was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards for her role as Jeannie, the first was for Best Female TV Star in 1966 and the second was for Best TV Actress in a Musical or Comedy in 1969, though she did not win either award. Barbara has played numerous roles in television and film since, including several episodes of the sitcom "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" in 2002/2003.
5. Morticia Addams

Carolyn Jones (1930-1983) was famous for portraying Morticia Addams in "The Addams Family" television series that ran from 1964-1966. Carolyn Jones also voiced the character during several animated adaptations of "The Addams Family". "The Addams Family" began as comic strip characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams (1912-1988) which were featured in "The New Yorker" magazine beginning in 1938. During her career, Carolyn Jones (in various other roles) was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and one Academy Award but only managed to win one of the Golden Globes in 1957.
6. Samantha Stephens

Elizabeth Montgomery (1933-1995) played the lead role of Samantha Stephens in the television sitcom "Bewitched", which aired from 1964-1972. Elizabeth also had a recurring second role in the series as Samantha's evil cousin Serena. Elizabeth received four Emmy Award nominations, as well as three Golden Globe nominations for her role as Samantha. Elizabeth had also received four additional Emmy Award nominations for various other roles in her career, but unfortunately was not selected to win any of them.
7. Lieutenant Uhura

Nichelle Nichols became famous for portraying Lieutenant Nyota Uhura, the communications officer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise during the original "Star Trek" television series which aired from 1966-1969. She would continue to play Lt. Uhura for the first six "Star Trek" films as well. Nichelle Nichols has received notoriety as one of the earliest African-American women to be cast in a major role in television and is even credited with the first interracial kiss on television, a moment she shared with fellow castmember William Shatner (Captain Kirk).
8. Judy Jetson

Janet Waldo (1920-2016) was a voice actress who played many characters from the Hanna-Barbera cartoon library, including Penelope Pitstop and her most prominent role Judy Jetson. "The Jetsons" was an animated sitcom that first aired from 1962-1963. The series was revived from 1985-1987, with Janet Waldo playing the role of Judy in both series. Judy was the eldest child of the Jetson family who enjoyed shopping, boys and other things teenage girls tend to do. Janet Waldo would continue to voice Judy until 1990, when she was unceremoniously replaced by singer Tiffany for "Jetsons: The Movie".
9. Ethel Mertz

Vivian Vance (1909-1979) became famous for her portrayal of Ethel Mertz, best friend of Lucy (Lucille Ball) in the "I Love Lucy" television series which aired from 1951-1957. Ethel Mertz along with her husband Fred (William Frawley) were also the landlords who owned the apartment where Lucy and Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz) had lived. Vivian Vance would receive four Emmy Award nominations as Ethel Mertz, winning only one of them in 1954.
10. Edith Bunker

Jean Stapleton (1923-2013) played the role of Edith Bunker, wife of Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor) in the sitcom "All in The Family" which aired from 1971-1979. Jean Stapleton was nominated for an Emmy Award in all eight seasons of "All in The Family", of which she won three (1971,1972 and 1978). Jean Stapleton also won two Golden Globe Awards in 1973 and 1974. Later in her career, Jean Stapleton would be nominated for the Emmy and Golden Globe for her portrayal of former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt in 1982.
11. Marilyn Munster

Patricia Priest played the role of "Marilyn Munster", the eldest child of "The Munsters" for the majority of the show's first run from 1964-1966. Marilyn Munster was portrayed as the most "normal" looking of the monstrous family. Pat Priest actually took over the role of Marilyn Munster from actress Beverly Owen (1937-2019), who played the character for the first thirteen episodes of the original series. Beverly Owen left the series due to personal reasons.
12. Penny Robinson

Angela Cartwright was the actress who played Penny Robinson, the middle child of the Robinson family seen in the science fiction series, "Lost in Space", which aired from 1965-1968. Penny and her family were marooned on an alien world after their ship was sabotaged by a man named Dr. Zachary Smith (Jonathan Harris).
The series took much of its inspiration from the novel "The Swiss Family Robinson", which was published by Swiss author Johann David Wyss in 1812.
13. Chrissy Snow

Suzanne Somers played Chrissy Snow, one of the three main characters of the sitcom "Three's Company" along with Janet Wood (Joyce DeWitt) and Jack Tripper (John Ritter). The series was based on the British television series, "Man About the House" which aired from 1973-1976. "Three's Company" ran from 1977-1984. Suzanne Somers left the show after the fifth season due to contract issues.
The character was replaced with Terri Alden (Priscilla Barnes) for the remainder of the series.
14. Catwoman

Julie Newmar was the first actress to portray Catwoman, a recurring villain of the original "Batman" television series which aired from 1966-1968. Julie Newmar appeared in thirteen episodes during the series' first two seasons. She would be replaced by Lee Meriweather for the the feature length "Batman" film that was released in 1966. Eartha Kitt (1927-2008) would play the role of Catwoman during the third and final season of "Batman". Julie Newmar would later reprise her role in several "Batman" animated films released in 2016 and 2017.
15. Weezie Jefferson

Isabel Sanford (1917-2004) played the role of Louise "Weezie" Jefferson in the television series "The Jeffersons" from 1975-1985. She was the wife of George Jefferson, who was played by Sherman Hemsley. "The Jeffersons" were a spin-off of the sitcom "All in The Family", which introduced both characters in 1971. Isabel Sanford was nominated for the Emmy Award as Weezie Jefferson seven years straight from 1979-1985, but did not win the Award.
She also had five Golden Globe nominations, but still was not selected.
