1. Who is the sage of the Shadow Temple?

Answer: Impa

This is easy if you've completed the game. Impa, the guardian of the princess has been the sage all along. She'll give you the purple Shadow Medallion after beating Bongo Bongo.

2. After taking the elevator in the Forest Temple, how many switches do you need to step on to get into the boss's lair?

Answer: 3

To get to the switches, you must push and pull the wall. Also in the walls are a Gold Skulltula and some arrows, but watch out for the regular Skulltulas.

3. In Dodongo Cavern, how many times do you need to slash the Kokiri Sword to kill a Baby Dodongo?

Answer: Once

The Baby Dodongo only appears a few times in the dungeon, and only take one hit to bring down. The Baby Dodongo will explode after being hit.

4. What do you fight in the final room of the Ice Caverns to earn the Iron Boots?

Answer: White Wolfos

A single White Wolfos stands between you and the Iron Boots which are necessary for entering and completing the Water Temple. You also learn the "Serenade of Water" from Sheik after earning the boots.

5. How many small keys do you get as child in the Spirit Temple?

Answer: 2

Both are earned from lighting torches, and both get you closer to retrieving the Silver Gauntlets. Shortly after, Nabooru is captured by Koume and Kotake the witches, and after seven years, is turned into an Iron Knuckle. Nabooru is the Spirit Temple Sage.

6. In the Great Deku Tree, which floor is the compass on?

Answer: Third

The compass is in the only room on the third floor. To get to the third floor, you must climb the walls of the Deku Tree. On the third floor, you must also jump three floors to the ground to open up the basement.

7. In the Fire Temple, you need to use the scarecrow to retrieve a Gold Skulltula token.

Answer: True

You need to play the "Scarecrow Song" on top of the maze near the bomb hole to trigger Pierre the Scarecrow. Also, you can earn 200 rupees using Pierre. To get the "Scarecrow Song" you must create it with Pierre at Lake Hylia.

8. Although it's a very minor dungeon, does the Bottom of the Well have a dungeon map and compass?

Answer: Yes

As a matter of fact, the well does have both. It also has a basement floor where you can find more treasures. This level also contains small keys and Gold Skulltulas. Beware the Floormasters which split into three little versions of itself, and the Wallmasters which can return you to the entrance of the well.

9. In Jabu-Jabu's Belly, you need the boomerang to earn the dungeon map.

Answer: True

You need to destroy the tentacle-like thing in one of the rooms. To get into the room, you'll need Princess Ruto to sit on the switch while you enter it. The boomerang is also useful for hitting electric things, and switches out of reach. It can also retreive Gold Skulltula Tokens.

10. In the Water Temple, how many rooms are between the main room and the room containing the longshot?

Answer: 3

Two rooms, plus the room where you face off with Shadow Link make the grand total. The longshot is basically a longer hookshot. The weapon is definatly essential for defeating Morpha, the Water Temple's boss, and receiving the Water Medallion from Ruto.
