Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where does the gameplay start (not counting introductory cutscenes)?

Answer: At the Whomping Willow

The interactive part of the game begins at the Whomping Willow, where Harry must free Ron from one of the Willow's branches after they crash the Weasleys' flying car. This section of the game is designed as a review of the spells learned in the "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" game.
2. Where is the final challenge star (not the Completion Star) in the Rictusempra Challenge?

Answer: In the secret area behind Lockhart's portrait in the Fire Crab pit beow the Completion Star

This secret area also contains a Silver Wizard Card. Also, if you go into the secret area after dumping only two Fire Crabs in and running underneath the floor of the pit, the floor comes down just as if you had dumped in another Fire Crab, saving precious time.
3. What is behind that door that could never open in the Gryffindor Common Room?

Answer: The Gryffindor Challenge

The Challenge can only be accessed in Debug Mode, which requires changing the game code files. The instuctions on how to do this can be found at any decent cheat code website. It is actually quite a fun challenge, with bunches of secret areas and TONS of beans.
4. Where would you find wizard cards featuring people from the band "The Weird Sisters"?

Answer: The Rictusempra Challenge

There are eight "Weird Sisters" cards in the Rictusempra Challenge; five of them bronze and three silver. Judging from their pictures, the group is a cross-dressing rock band.
5. Where do you first encounter the mean, nasty spiders?

Answer: On your way to find the Shredded Boomslang Skin

The early spiders look nasty, but are actually fairly harmless. The spiders at Aragog's lair, however, can kill you very quickly if you aren't careful.
6. Casting Rictusempra on the pigs at Hagrid's Hut will open a secret area.

Answer: False

You are able to cast Rictusempra on the pigs, but it does nothing but make them squeal. However, there are several beans and a wizard card that can be found in their pen.
7. What is the name of the boy or girl that you duel at the 200 bean level?

Answer: Peter

Once you can beat Peter, you'll never have bean shortages again. I find that using Expelliarmus is very effective in beating people quickly and painlessly.
8. When you exit the Hogwarts Castle and go onto the grounds, you can turn left, and left again into an alcove containing a Spongify tile. Where does that Spongify tile lead?

Answer: To a secret area with beans and a Silver Wizard Card

You open this secret area by jumping on the gray tile in the secret area across the lawn from the Spongify tile. This secret in turn is accessed through a Lumos-hidden opening which can be opened using the Lumos gargoyle right outside the entrance to the Diffindo Challenge.
9. How much does Wiggentree Bark cost if you buy it from a student?

Answer: 75 beans

Even though Wiggentree Bark is more easily obtained in normal gameplay (you can get it by killing Bowtruckles), it is more expensive than Flobberworm Mucous, which costs 50 beans. It is best, however, that you buy as many of both potion ingredients as you can before you face the basilisk, where you will need all of the Wiggenweld Potions that you can make.
10. Who is featured on the first Gold Wizard Card that you find in the Gold Wizard Card Challenge?

Answer: Bertie Bott

Bertie Bott's card is in the small chamber right after you exit the first large room with Fire Crabs on pillars. Bertie Bott's large card display at the end of the Gold Wizard Card Challenge is one of the only two that has extra animation when you walk up to it. Beans will pour out of Bertie's bean bag and Bertie will laugh.
