Answer: Teba

Teba is the Rito Warrior who assists you in defeating Vah Medoh, the bird-like divine beast terrorizing Rito Village. The Rito are a race of bird-like people.

During the battle with Vah Medoh, Link will ride on Teba's back high in the sky. During this battle, Teba is injured by Vah Medoh's cannons. After the divine beast's force shields and cannons are destroyed, Link can enter the beast to gain control of it. Teba will return to his home to recover.

Answer: Riju

Riju is the chief of the all-female Gerudo tribe of people. She took over for her mother, Urbosa, the Gerudo Champion who died during the Great Calamity event. Riju allows Link to stay in Gerudo Town despite him being a male and only women being allowed in Gerudo Town.

Riju helps Link enter the camel-like divine beast Vah Naboris. During that battle, Riju rides her pet sand seal Patricia while guiding Link around the divine beast's feet so he can shoot them with bomb arrows.

Answer: Link

Link is the hero and player character of "Breath of the Wild". At the beginning of the game, Link awakens in a dark cavern and has no memory of his past. His past, which spans over 100 years, is gradually revealed over the course of the game as Link collects his memories by visiting certain places or by other characters (many of whom are also miraculously alive over 100 years later).

The Sheikah Slate is a tool used by Link throughout the game. It contains, among other things, a camera and photo album, runes which allow Link to use things like bombs and to form ice blocks on water and maps.

Answer: Sidon

Sidon is the oldest son of Zora King Dorephan. As a result, he is the Zora Crown Prince and next in line to the throne. The Zoras are a race of fish-like people.

His older sister is Mipha who died 100 years prior in the Great Calamity. Her death affected Sidon very much and he can be seen mourning Mipha in front of her statue at certain times of the day once Vah Ruta, the elephant-like divine beast, is defeated.

Answer: Zelda

King Rhoam is the mysterious old man Link meets several times on the Great Plains at the beginning of the game. Once Link completes the first shrines, King Rhoam reveals himself as the king and tells Link of his daughter Princess Zelda.

One hundred years prior, Zelda was the leader of all the champions who were tasked with preparing the divine beasts for battle against Calamity Ganon. However, Ganon took over the divine beasts, killed the champions and took over Hyrule Castle. Zelda spends the majority of the game trapped in Hyrule Castle after she decided to use her last power to save Link so he could be resurrected 100 years in the future to defeat Calamity Ganon. Zelda is also the mysterious voice Link hears throughout the game. Typically, she will give him instructions.

Answer: Daruk

Daruk is the Goron Champion for was killed 100 years prior during the Great Calamity. After Link clears the salamander-like divine beast Vah Rudania, Daruk will bestow upon him the gift of Daruk's Protection, which will shield Link from enemy attacks for a short while.

Each of the champions used a special weapon when they were alive. Daruk's was called the Boulder Breaker, which was an extremely powerful and heavy sword.

Answer: Urbosa

Urbosa is the Gerudo Champion. After Link clears divine beast Vah Naboris, Urbosa will give him the power of Urbosa's Fury, which will summon lightning bolts to strike enemies.

Urbosa died 100 years prior when she failed to defeat Thunderblight Ganon which had taken control of Vah Noboris. During Link's battle with Thunderblight Ganon, she (like all champions) will contact Link from beyond to give him advice and to sometimes tease him during the battle, as well.

Answer: Yunobo

Yunobo is a descendant of the Goron Champion Daruk. He works as Bludo's (the Goron boss) assistant. Bludo and Yunobo try to drive Vah Rudania away from their city by using Yunobo as a cannonball. However, Bludo gets injured and Link has to take his place. Together, Link and Yunobo manage to push the divine beast into a crater, which Link to board it.

Answer: Revali

Revali is the Rito Champion who was a skilled archer when he was alive. He died in the Great Calamity 100 years prior after he failed to defeat Windblight Ganon aboard Vah Medoh.

According to some of Link's flashbacks, he and Revali did not get along as Revali was jealous of Link's high status. Revali felt he was far superior in fighting skills than Link. After Link defeats Windblight Ganon, Revali (who appears in front of Link in spirit form) says he respects Link for beating an enemy he had failed to kill.

Answer: Mipha

Mipha is the Zora Champion who, like all Champions, died 100 years prior during the Great Calamity. She was killed by Waterblight Ganon within Vah Ruta.

Prior to her death, she and Link had something of a romance going on. This is revealed in one of Link's flashbacks. This relationships seems to be a reference to "Ocarina of Time" where the Link in that game also had a somewhat romantic relationship with a Zora princess.
