Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Kingdom Hearts II": Which element does Demyx have a weakness to?

Answer: Fire

Although he wields water, Demyx has a weakness to fire magic. This is because in "Kingdom Hearts II", water was classified as a form of Blizzard. This was fixed in "358/2 Days" where Water and Blizzard are two different elements.
2. "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+": The Keyblade Two Become One has an ability "Light and Dark." Which of the following is true about this ability?

Answer: Increases chance of entering Anti-form when using drive forms

Two Become One is a keyblade exclusive to "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+". It is obtained after the battle with Roxas. When it is equipped, any attempt to enter a drive form will net either Final Form or Anti-form.
3. All "Kingdom Hearts": The shoe company Airwalk released two shoe models named after "Kingdom Hearts" characters. Which of the following two characters are the shoes named after?

Answer: Roxas and Demyx

The Airwalk Roxas and the Airwalk Demyx are both black skate shoes with different accents. The Roxas has a grey pattern similar to Roxas' accessories and the Demyx has light blue laces.
4. "Kingdom Hearts II": Jiminy Cricket appears in the game only once.

Answer: True

When Sora wakes up and gets out of his pod, Jiminy stretches and comments on how long they had slept. After being insulted by Donald for having an empty journal, he does not appear in any other cutscene.
5. "Kingdom Hearts Mobile": Which "Final Fantasy XIII" character's hair is available as an outfit?

Answer: Serah

Although Serah was never featured in a game prior to "Kingdom Hearts Mobile", players can dress their avatars with her hair. This makes Serah the first character from "Final Fantasy XIII" to appear in the series.
6. All "Kingdom Hearts": In a certain library in the series, a photo rests on a desk. Who is the photo of?

Answer: Mickey and Minnie

In Disney Castle's library, a bunch of interesting photos are scattered around the room. One of these is a photo of Mickey and Minnie in their "street" clothes.
7. "Kingdom Hearts II": The World That Never Was: In Proof of Existence, one of the twelve tombstones bears a typo. Whose tombstone is it?

Answer: Demyx

On Demyx's tombstone, it says 'XI' instead of 'IX'. Marluxia is XI in the Organization's ranks. This mistake was never fixed, not even in the "Final Mix" release.
8. "Kingdom Hearts II": All of the following were changed between the Japanese and English versions of the game except which?

Answer: New secret ending

The only differences between the two games are Axel's death scene and Xigbar's scope. In the Japanese version, Axel dies in a flurry of flames, while in the English version he fades to darkness. In the Japanese version, Xigbar's scope resembles that of a sniper rifle. This was changed in the English version to preserve an "E" rating.
9. "Kingdom Hearts": It is possible to play the entire game without Sora ever learning any growth abilities.

Answer: True

Sora can only learn abilities once he gets the Keyblade and only after he meets Donald and Goofy. If one was to get Sora to level 99 while on Destiny Islands or in Traverse Town before the Guard Amor Battle, he would only learn the shared abilities like High Jump or Mermaid Kick. This is highly unlikely but still possible.
10. "Birth By Sleep Final Mix" - Mirage Arena: What is the name of the score that plays during the Armor of the Master battle?

Answer: "Master, Tell Me The Truth"

"Master, Tell Me the Truth" is a variation of the Land of Departure's battle theme, "Future Master". In this battle, Terra, Aqua, and Ven take on Eraqus' lingering will.
11. "Kingdom Hearts": Donald forgets all his magic when he joins Sora, but he learns them again as Sora learns them.

Answer: False

While Sora may not learn certain spells for a while into the game, for whatever reason Donald can use them. He will constantly cast Aero even if the party hasn't learned it or use offensive magic such as fire, blizzard, and thunder.
12. "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+": All of the following are Absent Silhouette battles except which?

Answer: Demyx

The Absent Silhouette battles were replica battles against the five Organization members who were defeated in Castle Oblivion. That means the only Absent Silhouettes in the game were Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Marluxia, and Larxene. The rest were known as Replica Data, and once these Silhouettes have been defeated, they become Replica Data themselves.
13. "Birth By Sleep" - Mirage Arena: How many medals does Keepers of the Arena net you?

Answer: 600

When all other Arena Missions are completed and your character has reached Arena Level 20, you may battle in this nine-round mission against all previous bosses. The bosses that appear are different for each of the three characters.
14. All "Kingdom Hearts": Gullwing is the name of two weapons in the series. One is a Keyblade wielded by Sora, but who wields the other weapon?

Answer: Xigbar

In "358/2 Days," Xigbar has a pair of Arrowguns known as Gullwing. It is equipped with a Lift Gear (3) panel.
15. All "Kingdom Hearts": At the conclusion of "Re:Coded," Yen Sid claims that Sora and Riku need to show him something. What is it they need to show Yen Sid?

Answer: Mark of Mastery

In "Reconnect", the secret ending of "Re: Coded", Yen Sid explains how both halves of Xehanort have returned to become whole. Sora and Riku have a tough adversary ahead of them, and to make sure they are prepared, Yen Sid tells Mickey to get Sora and Riku so they may show him the Mark of Mastery.
