"Meteos": The Game, The Addiction Quiz

"Meteos" for the DS: I spent way too long playing this game. The scary thing is, I didn't beat it yet. I took a small break to test my knowledge here- alas! there were no "Meteos" quizzes! I thought, 'Sure, I'll take a break for an hour and make one!'

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Ahh, Geolyte- Where the journey starts. Which Meteos type (excluding rare metals) that naturally appears on Geolyte is most unlikely to fall there?

Answer: Zoo

The types of Meteos that fall on Geolyte include Fire, H2O, Soil, Air and Zoo. Zoo is the least common of these and falls less often.
2. My eyes happily scan my full Planet Registry. Where of the following places can this feature be found?

Answer: Options Screen

The planet registry is located in the Options section, and it is the largest panel. It displays all of your planets that have been unlocked.
3. I desire to play a round. So many planets to choose from! I settle on one whose inhabitants dislike pointy things. Which planet have I chosen?

Answer: Vubble

Vubblies, the inhabitants of Vubble, look like butterflies with blobs for heads. They skate across the foamy surface of Vubble. As is implied by the bubble theme, they dislike objects that could pop them.
4. I start my game. It is a simple match. I am playing against three enemies who have all teamed up against me. Is this possible?

Answer: Yes

In the simple match setup, in addition to choosing one's opponent, one may pick the teams. Each player has a flag. Players with the same colored flag have an alliance.
5. My game is over. Looking at the results screen, I see that one type of Meteos has fallen the most after my game. Which type of Meteos is most likely to have gone up the most, assuming that it naturally occurs on the planet I just played on?

Answer: H2O

On Vubble, the most frequently occurring Meteos type is H2O, out of Air, Iron, Zap, H2O and Glow. A strange characteristic of Vubble is that vertical launches have no power, unless the vertical launch is a secondary launch.
6. I return back to the main screen. I can not do so by which of the following actions?

Answer: Pressing the Y button

Peculiarly, there are quite a few ways to return to the main screen; pressing Y does not do so, though. Y has no uses throughout the game.
7. I want to fuse my Meteos into an item. What color is the "Fusion" button?

Answer: Green

On the main screen, the largest blue tab is to access the actual game. The Fusion tab is green, the Options tab is turquoise, the Extras tab is yellow and the Wireless tab is purple.
8. In the Fusion Room, I can create a Planet, Song, Item or Metal.

Answer: False

The options for Fusion are to make a Planet, an Item, a Rare Metal or a Sound. Planets are new areas to play on. Items do different things and appear while the game is in progress. Rare Metals are Time and Soul Meteos and they are needed to fuse certain items, sounds and planets. Sounds are the sound set from each planet and can be listened to via "Extras".
9. I see a planet in the fusion room that I can fuse. It requires 6,666 Zoo Meteos. What planet is it?

Answer: Globin

The theme of Globin is "living body". It is mainly Zoo Meteos. All Meteos types look like Japanese characters at Globin.
10. What is the difference between a Deluge Game and a 1-Player Simple Game?

Answer: In a simple game, items fall

Deluge games are almost exactly the same as a 1-person Simple match. The only differences are that the high scores are kept in a Deluge game, and no items fall in a Deluge game.
