Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Tekken 6 BR": Which of Jin's moves is a Natural Combo (NC)?

Answer: 2,4

2,4 is a 10 frame punisher. One of the best punishers in the game. Some of Jin's punishers are 1,2 and b+2,1. df+1,3 is a Natural Combo on counterhit only (NCc).
2. "Tekken 5 DR": Which of these is one of King's juggle starters (JG)?

Answer: FC df+2

FC df+2 can start a juggle by following up with f+3, 1, iSW or f+2,2,1. f,n,d,df+1+2 and b+1 are juggle starters on counterhit only (JGc).
3. "Tekken Tag Tournament": Which of these moves can be tagged out of?

Answer: Law's b+2,3,4

Law's b+2,3,4 is usually used within a combo and is followed by a tag in wr+4 (while running) or fff+4. It is not advisable to use it to start a combo since the 2nd hit can be parried.
4. "Tekken 6 BR": Which of these is a bound move?

Answer: Heihachi's df+1,2

Heihachi's df+1,2 is a Natural Combo bound move (NC, B!). It is a 13f punisher. Decent damage and causes a wall splat. Previously in "Tekken 5", df+1,2 was a Juggle starter on counterhit (JGc) that featured two consecutive uppercuts.
5. "Tekken Tag Tournament Unlimited 2": What do you press in order to use the universal tag crash move?

Answer: 1+2+5

The universal tag crash move 1+2+5 acts as a bound move but does not require an aerial hit. "Tekken Tag Tournament 2" is the first "Tekken" game to use the tag crash system, where your tag partner can fill in during your active character's juggle.
6. "Tekken 3": Which moves did not exist in "Tekken 3"?

Answer: Bryan's db+2

Bryan's db+2 is a mid hitting move vital to his juggles. The move floats the opponent to just the right height after a juggle starter. The beauty of the move is that even though it's a mid hitting move, it has a low hit box and can float opponents even if they're very close to the ground. (Don't push it too far though...)
7. "Tekken 5 DR": Just like in most "Tekken" games, how do you break King's Giant Swing(GS) throw?

Answer: 1

King's Giant Swing throw is one of King's most damaging moves. However, it has a complicated input (f,b,db,d,df,f+1). It is also one of the few throws in the game that can be tech rolled for lesser damage. Starting from "Tekken 5", Giant swing also works as an aerial throw featuring a power bomb. Starting from "Tekken 6", it can also be used on a wall to start a damaging wall grab.
8. "Tekken 6 BR": Which of these is one of Lili's bound moves?

Answer: df+3

The rest of the answers are all juggle starters (JG). Aside from Lili's df+3, her other bound moves are f+1+2, 4,1,3, the second hit of ws+3,4 and BT 4.
9. "Tekken Tag Tournament": Some characters have their own special tag throws. Which of these is not one of them?

Answer: Roger: f,b,db,d,df,f+1~5 to Jack

Roger and Jack doesn't have a special tag throw. They instead use the generic tag throw 2+5. Aside from the other choices, other good examples of special tag throws are King: b+1+2~5 to Armor King, and Armor King: FC db+2+4~5 to King.
10. "Tekken Tag Tournament 2": How do you input Hwoarang's strongest unblockable?

Answer: LFL 1+4

Hwoarang's LFL 1+4 unblockable caused quite a stir at the first release of "Tekken Tag Tournament 2". It was found that the move can be placed within a juggle and cause an insane amount of damage. For example, Bryan: Jet upper (fb+2), b+1~5; Hwoarang: 3+4, f+3 LFL 1+4; Bryan: db+2. The game mechanics were adjusted after that in order to avoid exploitation of said move.
