Obviously it's Vyse, the Blue Rogue and general adventurer. He uses two swords (cutlasses) and is generally one of the stronger playable characters.

All can be part of your party at different times, but Aika is the correct choice. When the group is separated in Valua you control Aika (with Fina) in Nasrad, and later on Daccat's Island.

Driln is actually yellow magic, not silver. Silver spells inculde Eterni and Curia.

Yellow is lightning, Purple is ice, and Green is nature. Silver spells can give life (Riselem) or take life (Eternum). If you're interested, Red is fire and Blue is wind and water.

In the first sequence we witness Fina on her ship, attempting to outrun a Valuan Battleship. The next major character seen is Alfonso, giving the order to attack. Next up is Vyse in the lookout of the pirate ship. Finally, after a few Blue Rogues, we see Aika board the Valuan ship.

The Little Jack is Drachma's ship, The Claudia is Gilder's ship, and The Blackbeard is Baltor's ship. Dyne, Vyse's father, is captain of the Albatross.

Spirit Charge belongs to Drachma, and allows him to recover more SP in a turn, as well as halving all incoming damage to him. Cutlass Fury delivers good damage to a single target. Rain of Swords delivers good damage to all enemies. Skull Shield protects and counterattacks against normal attacks.

You fight Recrumen (Red), Grendal (Green), Bluheim (Blue), Yeligar (Yellow) and Zelos (Silver). The only Gigas you don't fight in a ship battle in Plergoth.

We find this out in the Lands of Ice. When the crew find the injured Rhaknam Enrique notices the purple moon crystal embedded in the creature. Fina then reveals the purple Gigas' real name to be Plergoth.

This information is only found out by completing the moonfish sidequest. Throughout this sidequest you're dripfed the story a bit at the time. By the end you discover that Ramirez killed her father (Mendoza, a Valuan Admiral) when he discovered that Mendoza was using the people of Ixa'Taka for Valua's own personal gain.

Piastol is the Angel of Death, a mercenary that hunts and kills pirates. When Vyse and crew first beat her she recognises him as the pirates who came to help. Unfortunately, she had mistaken Vyse for one of the attackers.

The first entry (Baltor) is fought out as a ship battle. The rest are hand-to-hand combat battles, usually fought on the deck of your ship. You do fight Baltor a second time, also as a ship battle, but that time is not classed as a wanted battle.

I made up the other names. The three members are Vize (Vyse's counterpart), Anita (Aika's counterpart) and Faina (Fina's counterpart).

Hans' fan machine restores health and Izamel chucks a chunk of wood. Bella fires a large cannon and Pinta swings a large spanner.

Vyse starts with "In dire need", and Aika's second with "We call forth". Next up is either Drachma, Gilder or Enrique with "The power" and finally Fina finishes with "Of the ancients".

You can discover this after rescuing Fina for the first time, on your way home. Mirage Island can only be found after leaving Valua for the first time. For Topple Rock you need to be able to get to Maramba. The Black Moon Stone is in the Dark Rift, some way into the game.

There is no Sailor's Guild in Ixa'Taka. However, there is a ship flying around, a black market trader. Here you can buy/sell ship goods, check the wanted list and buy/sell discovery information.

He's busy burning down the forests of Ixa'Taka the first time you meet him. The Harpoon Cannon is on the Little Jack. The Moon Stone Cannon belongs to the Delphinus and I made up the Lightning Gun.

The Crystil Cannon, Moon Cannon and Advanced Cannon are all main cannons, and are affected by the strength of the one that fires them. The Wevl Cannon is a secondary cannon, which is not affected by the one that fires it.

Vyse uses cutlasses (two swords) and Enrique uses a rapier (thin sword). Aika uses a boomerang, Fina uses Cupil (a morphing creature), and Drachma uses his artificial arm. Gilder uses a gun.

The Sky Fang is a cutlass weapon, therefore only Vyse can use it. It is very difficult to get, and you'll only really get it right near the end of the game, but it does boast incredible power.

For Fina, this move restores 200HP for all active party members per turn. For Ramirez it restores 600HP per turn. He has a move similiar to Lunar Winds, but it is under a different name (Destruction).

Burn does not exist in this game. Poison drains your health steadily each turn. Weak reduces your stats and Stone prevents your character from performing any action.

It could go either way. It's not really worth it, as you'll end up missing a turn (as well as using up vital MP and SP) hoping to revive a fallen comrade. Riselem has a 100% success rate, as well as restoring their health completely.

As far as I know, we only know for sure that Vigoro lives on. Alfonso is seen in the palace when the Rains of Destruction hit and the images seem to depict his death. Gregorio dies at the hands of Galcian. Belleza kills herself by crashing into Galcian's escape pod, killing him too. De Loco dies in deep sky. Ramirez dies at the end.
