1. How many levels are in each zone (not including bonus levels)?

Answer: Three

There are three main levels. During the first two levels of each zone (Spring Yard, Marble, etc.) you can get a bonus level, so that's where four comes in. There is no zone with five levels.

2. In the Marble Zone, what is the animal that can kill you 2 ways?

Answer: Caterpillar

The caterpillar can kill you if you land on it's spikes without a shield or invincibility. The second way it can kill you is if you hit it and lose all of your rings, gain none back, it's body parts go flying, and you hit one.

3. You can be more than one character in this game.

Answer: False

You can only play as Sonic in this game. The other characters hadn't been invented yet.

4. Which zone is the furthest in the game?

Answer: Spring Yard Zone

There is no such thing as the Math zone. The Green Hill zone comes first, the Marble Zone comes second, and the Spring Yard Zone comes third.

5. You can find (secret) tunnel-type places in the Marble Zone.

Answer: True

You go down the blocks that move up and down, and eventually there is one that leads behind itself to thirty rings. This "secret" tunnel is in the first level of the Marble Zone.

6. To get to the bonus level, what do you have to jump into?

Answer: gold ring

If you get more than fifty rings at the end of the level, you can jump in a huge gold ring. That is how you get to the bonus level. If you miss it you can go back, but you only have a few seconds to do so.

Each time he attacks you, the next time it's harder to beat him. He has a different weapon each time he attacks.

Technically, this game is only available on the disks made by the company (the original disks). There are many places you can check for the real answer to this question (game stores, Sega's website, etc.).

They give you a life after 50 rings. It is hard to get a lot of rings because you can easily get pushed into a "finished barrier".

"Sonic" was made for MANY different gaming systems. Dreamcast is an older gaming system, and it came out after the Genisis and GameGear first, but was then available for the Dreamcast, so it was about the 3rd system that "Sonic" came out on.
