Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Well, I searched everywhere for at least one 'X' word, and I found the X-shaped Jewel. An X-shaped Jewel is one of four jewels used to open the Tarm Ruins in which game?

Answer: Oracle of Seasons

The X-Shaped Jewel is one in a set of four jewels found in four places around Holodrum in "Oracle of Seasons" (GBC). One of these locations is near the ocean at the Hero's Cave just west of Horon City. Tarm Ruins are in the mid-north-west area of Holodrum and it's the sixth dungeon in the game.
2. In which compass direction are you likely to find Yarna Desert in "Link's Awakening (DX)"?

Answer: Southeast

Yarna Desert is farther south-east than Animal Village which is quite far away from Mabe Village. To get into Yarna Desert, you need to find Marin and you must have her sing to a walrus blocking the entrance. Once inside, you can find a bunch of goodies, and you will face off against a boss for the Angler Key, which is used to enter the fourth dungeon.
3. Which character are you likely to see in Yoll Graveyard in "Oracle of Ages"?

Answer: Moosh

Yoll Graveyard is the first area you'll head to for one of the eight Essences of Time, and it will also be where you get the Zora Flippers and Cheval Rope. To get the flippers and rope, you'll need Moosh's flying ability to cross some large holes. Other than this, you can visit the Spirit's Grave for your first dungeon, visit the witch's hut, or get your first trading game item, the Poe Clock.
4. Is the Yoshi Doll the first tradable item in "Oracle of Ages"?

Answer: No

The Yoshi Doll is the first tradable item in "Link's Awakening (DX)", and in the end, the final item will allow you to read a book in the Mabe Village Library. The Yoshi Doll can be won in the game in the house in the southeast corner of Mabe Village, and you can give the doll to the mother in the house in the north end of town. Throughout the trading game, you'll need to go all over Koholint Island.
5. Who teaches Link the "Wind's Requiem" in "Wind Waker"?

Answer: Zephos

Zephos is a frog-like god who floats on a cloud much like his evil brother Cyclos who teaches Link a different and possibly more useful song. Zephos can be found at the Wind Shrine on Dragon Roost Island, and to meet him, you'll need to be handed the Wind Waker by the King of Red Lions.
6. How many Zora Eggs are in "Majora's Mask"?

Answer: Seven

Lulu's Zora Eggs can be found in two different areas on the Western Coast of Great Bay. Link will need to retrieve four of these eggs from the Pirates' Fortress, and then he'll need to make his way to Pinnacle Rock for the final three. When you have them, take them all to the laboratory on Great Bay and drop them into the tank. Once all seven are in there, you'll be taught the New Wave Bossa Nova. Once you play this song to Lulu, you'll be able to hitch a ride on the back of a giant turtle and you'll go to Great Bay Temple.
7. Which game does not include Zora Flippers?

Answer: Ocarina of Time

Zora Flippers give Link the ability to swim in deep or rough waters in these games. In "Oracle of Ages", Link can upgrade his flippers when he finds the Mermaid Suit around the time that he enters the sixth and seventh dungeons.
8. Which dungeon is located in Zora Village in "Oracle of Ages"?

Answer: Jabu-Jabu's Belly

Although Mermaid Cave does involve a lot of water, most of your swimming will be done in Jabu-Jabu's Belly just at the northwest edge of Zora Village to the southwest of Lynna City/Village. Mermaid Cave, the sixth dungeon in the game, is at the Rolling Ridge to the northeast while the seventh dungeon, Jabu-Jabu's Belly, is in the southwest.
9. Can a Zora Tunic be bought in Zora's Domain in "Ocarina of Time"?

Answer: Yes

The Zora Tunic allows its wearer to breathe underwater much like a Zora. Although you can receive this item by unfreezing King Zora when he's trapped in Red Ice (by using Blue Fire), you could also dish out some of your precious rupees to get a jump start. Be aware though, the tunic costs 200 rupees. Like the Zora Tunic, the Goron (Fire) Tunic can be given to you or it can be bought at the shop in Goron City.
10. Who gives Link his sail in "Wind Waker"?

Answer: Zunari

Zunari is the mysterious shopkeeper on Windfall Island who seems out of place because he looks like an Eskimo. You can help him succeed in the Windfall Island business world and you can get many different items (like the sail and Magic Armor) from him if you help him enough. Zunari also acts as an auctioneer for the island.
